I recommend you to actually watch the video before deciding that you can’t do the exercises I am proposing because you can 😊 If you’re interested in learning more and to get access to all my programs and workouts, check out my app Berg Movement: www.bergmovement.com/movement-trybe-app
What about hanging from your bend knees on the bar and then using the abdominals to pull up? Feels great on the back, and the hand are not the limiting factor.
Correction to the misleading title. "Abs and plank exercises are not that effective when trained incorrectly". Abs is for aesthetics mostly, planks is a finishers not a "display of core strength". What this guy is demonstrating is "Core workouts" hence why core in title is misleading/misused. Train your core 2/3 times a week to feel results. Throw in abs workout once a week. Combined with core workouts not only will your abs pop out more and sooner but you will notice how your stamina and endurance increase as well as your strength! - from an ex athlete that trained in sport camps and sport gyms (yes very different from normal gyms)
@LeonardDelori dragon flags are also great 😊💪 it’s a little more complex to measure and ensure progress. It’s definitely a skill I recommend everyone who want to delve deeper into calisthenics
So the things that i might be able to do, "dont work", so you show me some exercises that are completely impossible for me. In the meantime, i am 59 and still look pregnant.
You clearly didn’t watch much of the video 😅 What I am suggesting is, instead of using the same “routine” over and over again and instead of doing exercises that eventually just work in your stamina rather than strength, that you instead use a strategy that allow your to gradually make exercises more and more difficult. I am also showing exercises that are accommodating for all levels. I am pretty sure you could do lying knee raises as suggested in the video. Or even the slide out, by not sliding far out at all, then gradually slide longer out as you get stronger. It doesn’t matter if you’re 70 years old and had 10 babies. I also introduced these to my own mother, a mom of 4 😊

These are great. How about for the back core muscles?

1:10 You can buy abs rollers they are super cheap and will allow you to perform an easier progression with your knees on ground
Or you could place the towel on your hands and slide out from knees 😊
Some house have concrete floors, it'd be hard to use the towel method
Nice video; thanks
Great video. Ive been thinking about getting a sling lately. Any recommendations on where to get a good value sling?
What kind of rings are you using in this? I like the look of these over traditional round gymnastics rings!
What exercise can we best use for our obliques and lower back?
You are very powerful excellent

All good ones, I built my core with hollow body holds.
How can I turn off this weird sounding auto-translation?
I don't think i'll be able to do these exercises because i have a severe case of lazy.
Wow strong strength and flexibility ❤

First fix diet, a pot belly will not flatten with abdominal exercises.
