What the Heck? I LOVE the look of your photos and I thought you were doing all of your magic in Photoshop. I was very surprised to see that it was a preset in Lightroom. I'm glad you did a start to finish. I learn a ton from your videos.
Hi Glyn, I've been watching your videos on the Lightroom Summit. I liked what you did so much, I subscribed to your channel. First thing that pops up after subscribing is this tutorial on the dog portrait. Awesome. Thank you. ❤️🐾🐾
What a beautiful portrait of such a striking model! It’s great to see you working with a black dog. It can be a struggle to expose for dark fur while not blowing out the surrounding highlights. As always, we’ll done!
Hi Glyn...many compliments for your classes in this week's LR Summit. I've seen both videos and they are amongst my favs out of the excellent content featured...and there are some really good ones Well done mate
What a cracking video. The techniques explained here are easy to understand and the results are great, very similar to your wonderful people portraits. Could I ask what your lighting setup was? I can see two catchlights in the dog's eyes. Martin
Love it as always, interesting that you are now flattening images in PS and doing far more in LR. The preset is great too, need to start investigating creating my own :)
I wish Adobe would put the exact masking as in LR and Raw, in the main interface of PS, so it would all be the same. I have just subscribed to your channel, it's very good, I know PS pretty well. but I'm pretty weak on LR, I only use LR for viewing and sorting. Great channel! Keep them coming!
Hi Paul. You'll find pictures of Harry Billinge here: glyndewis.com/blog/harry-billing?rq=harry%20billinge and over on the 3945 Portraits Project website here www.3945portraits.com
No...I've taken many pet portraits using flash in the past and no issues. Also, someone like Kaylee Greer who specialises in Dog Portraits uses flash all the time 👍🏻
Hi There ... Yeah the preset would override any others 'if' the preset included those particular sections eg Basic, Detail etc ... You could (it is long winded though) send the image to PS as a Smart Object then saved it and bring it back into Lightroom and then apply the preset to the saved version. Does that make sense?
@@glyndewis yes first part made a sense ..im just starting so trying just lightroom for now and PS as I go further. Thanks for reply you're brilliant Glyn :) 👍
Lightroom is where I import, catalog, print etc...so it makes life easier to use it rather than Camera Raw ... unless I'm using Camera Raw as a Filter when in Photoshop
We are pet photographers. There is much here to learn from, especially the newest ACR masking capabilities. Thanx, Glyn.

❤❤❤
Thanks 👍🏻
Fantastic portrait and love the final look; is this preset available?
Thank you so much Paul. Re the Preset yeah I'm going to make that preset available once we get the coming week out of the way 👍🏻

Thanks so much Leon ... I hope the content is useful
I really enjoyed this one, but I don't have a dog, so practicing on my teddies 🤣
Sounds like a great idea 😃
Great stuff matey, is there any way to get your Cinematic preset?
❤
Thanks John. Yeah I'm going to add the preset to my newsletter / email group download once I get this coming weekout of the way
Hi mate, great video as ever. Do you have a preset pack ?
Not just yet Andrew but I am actually putting one together
You have taken images of Harry Billenge in you reviews where will I find the completed work please? I used to follow Harry and Sheila in Notmandy ?
Hi Paul. You'll find pictures of Harry Billinge here: glyndewis.com/blog/harry-billing?rq=harry%20billinge and over on the 3945 Portraits Project website here www.3945portraits.com
I wonder if you had packed up your lighting before the dog posed. Do you think flash would scare a pet?
No...I've taken many pet portraits using flash in the past and no issues. Also, someone like Kaylee Greer who specialises in Dog Portraits uses flash all the time 👍🏻
Hi Glyn..dunno if you still answering comments..wanted ask if presset which you applied override adjustments you made it before?

Any reason why you prefer to use Lightroom over Camera Raw in photoshop?
Lightroom is where I import, catalog, print etc...so it makes life easier to use it rather than Camera Raw ... unless I'm using Camera Raw as a Filter when in Photoshop
Your own presets - Like - Cinematic seaside - are they available?
Not just yet but will be making them downloadable in the next week 👍🏻
Can I borrow Trigger and his dog from you? I want to earn my bragging rights.
Kidding my friend, just kidding. What a great outcome. Good tutorial.
😃 Thanks Wendy
Where are your Lightroom presets as shown in this video?
I haven’t made them available just yet but will be very soon Jean
