Brent is probably natty. I was in small competitions with him and did a workshop of his. His work ethic is insane and from what I saw of his behavior, he's a stand-up human. Nothing bad to say from my view

Fikowski is a good dude who has made some judgement errors along the way. He’s obviously very intelligent, and I believe had/has good intentions with the PFAA. Someone who doesn’t care about other athletes, and the community as a whole, wouldn’t put forth the effort to create a whole-ass association. Is he perfect? No. But mad respect for him. Plus, he’s funny. Prior to all the PFAA drama, we were all laughing along with the Brent and Pat shenanigans for years. I’m not going to let the last few months ruin all of the years we got to enjoy with him.

For the record I think he's natural but I don't understand how you say he's consistent but doubt Queen Tia. She has never finished outside of second place in 9 years of competing, think about that for a minute. I think both of them are 1%'ers, they have gifts most of us can't understand. If Brett were 4 inches shorter with his gifts he would be Rich Froning.

"Wouldn't it be better for Dave to just improve"
No... wouldn't it have been better for Harvey Weistein to just improve as a person, no need for punishment or to hold him accountable.
Absolute awful and biased take. Dave openly lied about the wishes of the family of an athlete that just died due entirely to poor running of the event, he was running. He did it, entirely for the financial benefit of the organisation. It's a dog shit move, by a dog shit person.
You need him out of your sport or you can continue to enjoy seeing your viewership and participation numbers plummet dramatically.

What I used to love about this channel was your objectivity, and criticism aimed at improving the sport. In my opinion, your loyalty supersedes your integrity and does a disservice to your original intent.

Never understood why he was called the professor. He really didn't approach workouts smarter than anyone else. If anyone was a professor it was Rich. He would execute a plan on every workout according to what was needed to win the games. Justin too. Mat just went balls out and dominated. Brent didn't show any kind of new approach to crossfit to warrant the nickname.

    • @tbird7606

Fikowski's biggest skill was his ability to apply the bridge performance model to himself. He knew how to use his advantages to compensate for his disadvantages as well as the champs. If you're not convinced: no other athlete that has been this successful for this long is nearly as tall as him.

Y‘all have no clue. He planned his workouts meticulously. By doing so he was able to place 1th to 10th in average. There aren’t alot of 6‘2 guys that are able to do that. Guys like this have to get a advantage somewhere and tactics is one field that isn‘t that competitive because most crossfitters go by feel and not by measuring there performances. Brent did.
