Mam pytanie czy nie jest tak przypadkiem patrząc na filmy ze ponizej minus 15stopni auta sa odpalane i dopiero potem pokazywane na filmie. Bo nie ktore auta przy minus 5 pala jak inne ponizej minus 20 szczegolnie diesle. Ale ogolenie fajny kanal filmiki😊😊
absolutnie, staram się żeby wszystkie filmiki były autentyczne i wywalam tego typu "chwasty" =) i owszem zgadza się, dużo zależy od typu silnika (wtrysk bezpośredni vs pośredni), stanu samego silnika, świec żarowych, akumulatora itp. itd.

Why is motor oil mixed with petrol for cold starts? I come from a warmer country and google doesn't tell me why.
Its cheap for a fuel alternative, its actually worse for cold starts since motor oil get thick in the cold and dont have the same anti-freezing additives typical diesel and gasoline thats sold at the pump. Better than some other stuff like cooking oils, at least.
Yeah, it's used as fuel in the fuel tank, not as engine oil. Although from what I know, adding some gasoline to the motor oil (actually in the motor) before shutting down to make it more fluid upon restart attempt was commonplace in cold regions years ago. It dillutes the oil and damages it's lubrication/protection properties though. Good when you want to use it as diesel fuel substitute. Bad if you actually want it to lube your engine. :D
Nobody really does it nowadays with modern oils. Back in the days however, when even in -20*C engine oil was the consistency of molasses, let alone -50, this was common.
