- In this video, I show you how to get giant rings in the fastest time possible with Knuckles Route.
I also show the best routes and executions to make sure you have better luck in special stages.

The 5th is super difficult! The 6th one is pretty tough too but none compare to the 5th one in terms of difficulty. You got lucky because normally if you miss the mach-up power up after hitting the coin power up boxes you normally lose due to coin loss so you’re good.
I completly agree, the 5th is the one that took me the most of time

@@fungus66713 all of the regular ones are super easy once you have an idea of the layout. I know I sound like 'get gud' but I have recordings for each special stage on my Xbox I should have published. But no one was interested so they're just sitting on there 😂
I think the sixth one is harder than the fifth, once you get the layout of the fifth and jump while turning on Mach 3, it’s pretty easy to get quickly. The sixth one is brutal because there’s barley enough rings to keep a timer and there’s a ton of stage hazards as well
The 2nd special stage is way faster if you follow the UFO instead of going straight on your first lap. If you have the original version of the game, you can get him in like 10 seconds. If you have the updated version like most of us (1.4) then you have to get the 'mach up' bumper, you will be in Mach 2 and can catch him by the end of the straightaway you land on, it comes out to exactly one lap.

There is also a point if you go too fast at mach 2 you could get over the ufo, this happened so many times to me and I had to just go backwards in order to the ufo to fix itself

All of them are hard. Maybe Christian Whitehead screwed up with Sonic Mania's special stages, but at least the regular zones are good

For me, the special stage 6 is way the hardest, too many giant rings for me because of the difficulty, but at least, i finished the game with all the emeralds.
After doing the encore emeralds for so long this was barely anything. Thanks still!

WTF why is the 5th stage so hard, I had to restart the entire stage like 6 times. Stage 6 and 7 are nothing after 5 that’s not how it’s supposed to work

This may be a hot take but I can't stand these special stages. The controls on the special stage are just awful compared to most special stages in previous sonic games. I do love the rest of the game it's just the special stages I can't stand
