Why was Creed so hated? They were radio friendly enough to be easily accessible but had a uplifting spiritual element to their music. Was a breath of fresh air for me. Plus you can’t say they were talentless.
It’s the media. I don’t think that many people hated Creed until the media started telling them it was the cool thing to do. God forbid people have an original thought without the media giving it to them .
Just my 2 cents. I love when any band live is similar to their album. The few times I saw Creed live was hell on my ears. It’s like he was singing the songs in a different key then everyone was playing and the crowd was supposed to be understanding. Musically? I’ve always loved Marks live performances. But Scott was like nails on a chalkboard….3 separate times.

Whoever said creed sucked live doesn’t know the band pre 2002. Their reunion shows weren’t great as stapp’s voice was shot. Checkout Creed Live Tempe bootlegs from 1998. Easily one of the best live bands ever to have walked this planet
This band needs more recognition. great work guys. I wish to hear them out once with drums sets on instead of cajon. As the guitars sound quite dominates the sound produced by cajon. But still listening great and no wonder Bassist is is covering half the band. Nice team work Guys.
