I’m 67 and a career martial artist coming up on 50 years of training. I accomplished many goals most people would think are impossible. I attribute my successes to the sacrifices I made to be the best I could be. When I practice, I feel free, energized, at peace. Now, at 67, my sacrifices have caught up to me and I am not able to do those things anymore. Life has finally turned around. I don’t regret any of it, but this song has a special meaning to me. 😢

I wander whom this friend is. He just says hello my friend. Is it the same as the same 1 he mentioned in Higher? Hmmmmmmm. Makes 1 wander. It was at the time when I was getting into girls when this 1 and One Last Breath came out. Or slight correction when I heard them. So I paid these 2 more attention. Wasn't a big fan of higher and had I known With Arms Wide Open was bassically Creed's A New Day like Seline did well who knows what I would have made of it. But as things stood wasn't much a fan of that song either.

Why was Creed so hated? They were radio friendly enough to be easily accessible but had a uplifting spiritual element to their music. Was a breath of fresh air for me. Plus you can’t say they were talentless.
It’s the media. I don’t think that many people hated Creed until the media started telling them it was the cool thing to do. God forbid people have an original thought without the media giving it to them .
Just my 2 cents. I love when any band live is similar to their album. The few times I saw Creed live was hell on my ears. It’s like he was singing the songs in a different key then everyone was playing and the crowd was supposed to be understanding. Musically? I’ve always loved Marks live performances. But Scott was like nails on a chalkboard….3 separate times.

Whoever said creed sucked live doesn’t know the band pre 2002. Their reunion shows weren’t great as stapp’s voice was shot. Checkout Creed Live Tempe bootlegs from 1998. Easily one of the best live bands ever to have walked this planet
