Do I just cold call apartments and ask if I can run the trash for them?

Cold calling in is an option. It's best to try and walk in and speak with the property manager. You can set a meeting easier that way.

Who would I need to talk to and who is the one who actually is able to give the go ahead for me to get a contract with a complex ?

This depends on the property. I would suggest starting with the property manager since they are the day to day contact and will be your biggest supporter if they want the service and another higher up needs to be sold to sign off on it. After them, would be your Regional Manager. They are usually the decision maker in most cases, or have to run it one more step up the chain of command. If you come across a smaller complex, they might be self managed so that person would potentially be the owner, which would make the decision. You would just need to ask leading questions in your sales pitch like, “would you be the one making the decision on when we can integrate our services?” This will give you your answer.

What type of money are we talking here as profit?

    • @NationalTrashValet

It varies depending on the apartment complex you sign up for, but a 300 unit complex can bring in $40,000 to $55,000 in gross profit. If you hire out and don't work the property at all, you would be looking at around $22,000 to $37,000 net after expenses. We suggest you work the property to get to know the business more and to take some extra profits upfront before hiring out. We have a free revenue calculator on our website that you can play around with at nationaltrashvalet.com

Why does it specifically focus on complexes with trash valets? Is it bad/ hard to get a contract with complexes that don’t have them ?

      @@NationalTrashValetare we talking annually ?

@@tacticalmovingco Yes, one complex can bring that it annually. This is why so many small valet trash owners can have 3-5 complexes and do pretty well for themselves.
