Hey Eric thanks for the update and the new content! Yes, all these mods have GOT to be affecting the performance of our trucks, and trying to get a handle on the actual numbers is crucial if we are going to weigh in on the expected performance and what these mods have as perceived value! Please keep us apprised of each new addition and the cost/benefit of each addition!
Thanks Eric for Channel! Yes on hugging the left side. On trip from St. Louis to Nashville. I noticed hugging the left . Also noticed when passing a Semi the draft coming off the front of Semi would push the CT to the left and the FSD wouldn’t correct. On a trip from St. Louis to Venice Fla. I actually got pushed to the left and the shoulder of the Hwy was not paved as high as the running lane. I had to take over. All and All the FSD is amazing 🤩 the CT is amazing 🤩 just as you said a wonderful relaxing ride. Simply mind blowing 🤯
I believe you could easily use the Cybertruck Crossbars and a modified platform to put solar panels over the entire back of the truck. And, then you could use non-flexible panels that are more efficient. Plus, you could still roll the tonneau cover up/down without worrying about flexible panels that would end up damaged…
I do not have the hugging to the left issue. Looking forward to absolutely SAFE AND LEGAL ability to go to sleep at 11pm and wake up parked in the morning at Disneyland.
Semi-attraction has been an autopilot/autosteer issue FOREVER. Like, from the 2015 Mobile Eye days. Other self-driving cars see it too. I'm not sure what causes it, but it's "a thing" that has to be solved, apparently.
Great content. I don't have the hugging left thing. Did the whole way back from Lacerne to OC with no interventions. How much of the trip did use cruise of fsd? That makes a huge difference for my range in the Beast.
sorry your truck is doing that, my non-foundation cyber beast I got two months ago doesn’t seem to have this hugging the left side of the lane issue on FSD.
Have you performed a camera recalibration as this may help the truck find the center of the road. If that does not work I would put in a service ticket so Tesla knows about the issue and I’m sure they will resolve this for you. Thanks for the info in your Video Great job.
Hello 👋🏼 yes I have done a camera recalibration twice. Once weeks before this trip and once before we headed back home. The footage in this video is from the drive back home so unfortunately it didn't fix it 😔 You are right I should take it to my local SC to see what they can do. I appreciate you watching and commenting 🙏🏻
i went to l.a and back to the bay area in the model x P and during fsd it keeps changing to the right lane instead of the left regardless of cars around or not. CT usage is high especially if you have thick all terrain tires and going past 70 + is where you hit high resistance from aero and the drive train. I noticed if you have a beast 3 motor cruising at 75-80+ easier on the truck than a dual motor. to pull alot of efficiency out of the CT you need all seasons 275-60-20 light truck tires
@@Butter_EV It’s weird that you’re having issues with left side lane pull on V13.2.2 Have you checked that your cameras are indeed clean and or aligned?
bed rack ruins the look. Truck sits too low. Needs to be lifted. Need at least 24" wheels with 35 inch mud tires and a negative offset..need 3" lift...I'll show you how it's done once I get my CT.
The CT has air suspension so I can lift it with a touch of a button. My tires are 35" wheels are 20" as I need more tire for off roading. Can't wait to see your future build. Send me a photo once you have it and I'll feature it on my podcast. I appreciate you watching and commenting 🙏🏻
those prices listed in your app are WAY OFF, you charged 35 kWh and only paid 2.87 for electricity ? no frigging way Coalinga charges almost 0.60 per kWh, thats $20
Really wish the range was more but I think the range is decent when stock. My video is strictly showing what happens with you add the mods that I’ve added

I am sure that they will tweak the experience. Glad you are loving your CT! 👍🏼
Great stuff!
Thanks!
Maybe you can do a camera calibration in service mode to fix your full self-driving issue.
I’ll look into that. Thanks for the suggestion

🤣 that would be awesome!
Glad you do not have the issue that I am experiencing because it sucks

Yes, but the crazy thing is that so many other CT owners state that they do not have my issue so 🤷🏻♂️
My cyber truck started to hug the left lane in the last FSD update. It never had this problem before and I've had the vehicle for about a year.
I love FSD but it scares me when it does it. Hopefully I can get it fixed soon
Same! Noticed it yesterday driving to and from Phoenix to Tucson. Thought it might have been wind but nope
@@flamaest same thing happened to me on the 5 freeway.

I appreciate the continued support 🙏🏼 I pretty much used FSD the whole time

You’re luckier than me
Mine used to hug the left lane really bad. Seems like it got better after recent update. I’m on v13.2.2. What are you on ?
I’m on v13.2.2 as well
I was driving up and down the 5 on the days you were and charging my Cybertruck at that Coalinga charger was a doozy. It charges so slow!!!
I can’t wait for faster charging to come to the CT. There are some chargers that get up to 325kw but we need 500kw!
@@chrisg5101 Yes it was a planned stop by the Tesla navigation.
Well you're driving a brick at 86mph and getting crap energy consumption. I'm shocked I tell you shocked! 😅
I appreciate you watching my video 😉

What FSD we’re you on?
V13.2.2
@@Butter_EV It’s weird that you’re having issues with left side lane pull on V13.2.2 Have you checked that your cameras are indeed clean and or aligned?
Have have the same issue with FSD
Now that makes three of us 🤣
You could go into service mode and recalibrate the cameras 🤷🏻

Correct, I haven't adjusted those numbers hence why I didn't even address them in the video
Report the FSD issue to Tesla so they can fix it....
I'm I'm sure you have by now.
I think I'm going to take it in to my service center to have them take a look
Elevation being almost flat isnt that accurate because you use more range climbing vs what you recoup coming back down a mountain.
holy crap cybertruck range blows. imagne when these have some degradation on them. dont know why tesla skimped so hard on battery size.
Really wish the range was more but I think the range is decent when stock. My video is strictly showing what happens with you add the mods that I’ve added
Obvously its because of all the mods you've done which you conveniently neglected to mention until the video was almost over. Clickbaity vid.
I literally state my mods at 1:10 as well as show them plus the thumbnail points them out 🤦🏻♂️
@@Butter_EVStill the title seemingly blames the truck for poor range instead of the parachute that you draggin with you.
Shitty truck review with a phone holder ad
Thanks for the watch 😉
