    I like that the people of Westeros seem to appreciate cats a lot more than medieval europe.

    The kindness shown to the little girl who turned in her father sounds so threatening; plunging her into a hot bath, then feeding her hot bread and bacon sounds like a punishment when you don't realize what luxeries those must be!

      I'm sure the girl wasn't complaining either way😂even if it got her father killed

    Rego’s death was utterly brutal, btw if princess Daenerys had a dragon she might have survived, just like Aenys and quicksilver, and Rhaena and Dreamfyre

      It really was a bad way to go. In my head I keep picturing oberyn but worse. It kind of also reminds me of what happened to the fat high septon in class of kings. I think if they had got a dragon to get early I think it could have saved her. But even if Jaehaerys got back on time she was in a very bad state. I think George purposely had her die and mention Jaehaerys getting a dragon to help highlight the time’s the dragons helped I.e Aenys and Rhaena and that maybe there was a power there.

      World Of Westeros that makes sense. Rego should have been smarter about his movement and changed route

      defiantly it was a dumb move to go through that part of the city. But i kind of think it fits where his character was going. He had gotten lazy and glutinously fat. To me it shows he got to comfortable with his position, over confident. This arrogance lead to him misjudging the mood in the city that lead to his death.

      World Of Westeros never thought about it like that, just like Borus blunt (Tommen’s former Kingsguard turned food taster

    I belive that the infamous Targaryen madness, is caused by the lack of of dragons, in other words the Targaryens can not live normally like any other human being without a dragon and that drived the Targaryens, after the Dance, to either make marriage alliances with other houses or go insane.
    I also belive that the Targaryens like Valar, Baelor Breakspear and Jon Snow, are the few healthiest Targs when it comes to mental illneses, becouse of their lack of Valyrian trait. In other words, immune to the Targaryen madness but open for common disseases, and that'll I'll belive, if my theory is correct for the book ending, lead to perserve House Targaryen via Jon Snow, but the Valyrian traits will cease to exist and be replaced with the Stark traits, and the worst nightmare of the Targaryens (read Aerys's II, Viserys's, and other Targs who followed the Valyrian tradition of sibling marriages) will become a reallity and become disconnected with both Old Valyria and dragons.

      That all does make a lot of sense. There defiantly seems to be a link between the dying of the dragons and the declining mental health of Targaryen. And your right to point out the most sane ones happen to be the less traditionally Valyrian ones. Even Targaryen we see as relatively normal and sane still had some apparent issues with mental health, Rhaegar would be a good example. It’s not a hard and fast rule but it does seem to fit well.

      This Daenerys Targaryen was the secondborn child of King Jaehaerys I Targaryen and Queen Alysanne Targaryen. Much like her elder brother Aegon they often get left of family trees given how many children Jaehaerys & Alysanne had and how young they both died. So most will show Aemon as the first. I think it’s possible there not in the family tree in the world book due to Jaehaerys rule not being properly fleshed out till fire and blood came out

    Do you think if baby Daenerys got a dragon she would have lived

    • @WorldOfWesteros
      @WorldOfWesteros  4 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      It’s tricky because there are definitely cases with ill and sickly Targaryen where a dragon helped them. Aenys for example was really helped by it. So it’s definitely possible that If she got the dragon it may have helped. But I get the feeling with Daenerys it may have been to little to late to save her.

      @@Goldenxbih targaryens are connected to there dragons thru some form of blood magic lost to time that still flows in there veins. It is said that dragons are fire made flesh and targaryens are blood of the dragon.

      @Goldenxbih 🦂✨ there is serious evidence that being bonded to a dragon makes them highly resistant to disease. Every instance of a Targaryn dying of disease has been someone without a dragon.

      @@Goldenxbih well think about if you are sooo connected to a dragon to the point they can feel your feelings physically and emotionally than y’all are basically one in the same so you can the dragons blood and they gain your soul so you gain their strength spiritually
