The damn slide on mine won’t even come off
I heard others with same issue i cant complain i never have trouble getting it off be sure rack slide first then try to get it off or slide lock it then hold pins down and release slide release :)
@@AirsoftNLD believe me, I’ve tried everything. It gets stuck just at the start of the rails it runs along, after the hammer. Once it gets there, I have to pull the trigger at the same time as pushing the slide forward with force. Which is really something I don’t want to do because then I have to reset the trigger by hand by pressing down on the levers which can’t be good.

I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong but when I do it the same way my Glock slide will go only a inch forward then it’s locked In place and won’t unlike in the video?
I have the same glock as the video i think but the two pins that you pull down when taking off the slide, my pins dont move at all and i put force on em. I also heard in a video they are just for show? but then how do i take off the slide
half blow back model is different than full blowback model
I think for the half blowback you have to take out the 3 pins to remove the slide but I’m not 100% sure
I haven’t tried but it looks like you need to unscrew the rod in the front below the barrel
Thanks I shoved the wrong Alan wrench down the hop up lmfao this helped a lot
*One way to take the orange tip off* take the barrel out of the gun, boil up some water, then stick the barrel in the boiling water. Let it simmer in the water till you think it’s good (this heats up the glue and softens it up) take a pair of pliers or channellocks then pry it off.
This is only if you can’t take the orange tip off from TH-cam videos you see. This is one way
Dry firing GBB's wont cause more or less wear and tear than firing with a BB =) other then that good video dude!

What oils/lubricants go on what parts? I plan on getting a maintenance kit from Nostveritch and was wondering if I should just use silicon grease on all the moving parts. I don’t wanna mess up anything.

I use it everyday and repetitively reload the mag, pull the slide and blank fire. Like a toy to figet with if that helps to give you an idea. How often would you recommend cleaning in my case?

lower is just to hard with the hammer. i always mess it up. so i suggest u dont remove the hammer just remove oil and such ;D

@@AirsoftNLD yes have good if looking only but if use not have good chinese shit worst material alltime broken and i have 3 pistol and rifle and newer ewery not has good alltime broken need orden spare parts and come expensive than good tokyio maryui or hi-capa gun. or WE gun. lot lot better gund, i has buy after umarex chinese shit only good guality japanese or taiwanese factory guns, if WE glock cost 4000 B umartex same glock cost 2000 B and umarex can use 2 month and WE glock can use all life end. little bit different guality and material have. but if have 5000-7000B hi.capa or tokiyo marui guns can use all life and newer not have problems. money talk what have good and what have worst. 2000B double bell has super worst normal target shooting go broken less than 1 month. and 3 time orden new spare parts but last time i not orden more i figt this worst shit to trash. double bell and umarex have totally worst material and guality.

Same here, I’m not trying break mine. Would you be able to make a video showing the internal function of the side buttons to get a better understanding?
UPDATE: Just use a little force by pushing with your thumb on the back of the slide while holding the side buttons down. I guess I’m just used to cheaper airsoft guns. Comes off easier the more you take it apart I feel like.
Very new to the airsoft, my son recieved the redwolf glock19x for Christmas like the one in this maintenance tutorial, and worked great for 2 days and now will only shoot 4 times and it will be out of gas "greengas" and ideas
Sounds like it's not sealing up correctly, leaking green gas out. I have no experience with that particular 19x, but most likely that's the issue

Hey I've had mine for over a year and have never been able to use it because it won't shoot.. I load everything but when I pull the trigger; nothing..at times BBs dow just roll out of the barrel as well.. do you have any suggestions?
Use gas and adjust hopup
The back of my gun was so dry compared to the front 😭 thanks man it was a Christmas present and the slide wouldn’t reset all the way after firing a round I’m guessing it just was not lubricated enough
And same thing with slide release it would get stuck halfway instead of resetting
You would have to physically push the slide forward after slide release

So 1. that one black screw that holds the nozzle unit down and also the rear sight and that black plastic thing in the back. This one screw gets loose every time I shoot or just load the gun a few times. What do I do about it? EverOne seems to have no problems with that except me... and I’m trying to use lock tight right now and hope it helps. And 2. does it damage the hammer if I dry fire it? No gas, no mag or at least mag with no gas and bbs In it. Because I did it a lot and I think I took it to far... the triangular bearing on the hammer scratched of a bit of metal in the hammer housing and also bent the part where it sits in a bit. So does it come from me dry firing it without gas? Or am I just unlucky cus the screw that holds the spring to pull back the nozzle also just went loose and got fired out with one shot and the gun is still just a few days old but that’s not really my fault cus I didn’t do anything, never even took it apart before that happened...what am I doing wrong 😑???
P.S: does it damage the hop up unit if I accidentally double feed the gun (one round chambered in and reload again)?
lol idk about the screw i dont have that. that lock tight might be a solution. or maybe send it back lol.
theres diffrent opinions on dry fire. i dont like to do it. some say it damages your pistol some dont. so i just dont do it.
double feed should not be a problem i do that loads of times lol. maybe u can send it back for repair if its really that bad.
I bought the Co2 version and the slide release will not move and I can’t remove the slide. I called service and they say it is NOT supposed to come apart. I have the gen 5 version bought Oct 2021.

Lock slide back hold both pins down release slide it will get stuff less than half way so just pull trigger when it gets stuck then it will easily slide right off

@@infamoussnake4042 I have the same pistol with the same problem. What he is saying is that the takedown pins don't move at all. It seems that umarex has made this pistol now ment to be taken down at all as even the hop up adjustment would get in the way of the slide moving forward and would need to be taken out. Would have been nice I'd that was made clear in any of the videos receiving the pistol online

Love the video. I have a question my 19x is not feeding my BBs and the side stays back after the first shot. If I want to slide to move forward, I have to push it from the back of the slide. The funny part is if I have no babies in the magazine and dry fire, it works fine.
I have an issue with mine i shoot once and it gets stuck halfway after the first shot then don’t wanna shoot after that
Maybe use other gas. Or oil it up

Great trick using the slide stop to release the slide line wouldn't come off for the life of me the way I do it on my regular one by just sliding it forward by ha d!

I'm maybe late but it's designed that way since the real glock barrel tips up to load the next bullet more easily but I think most of the handguns has it. Although it won't affect your aiming since the inner barrel won't move

Change the hopup mine does same thing just play around with hopup and its gone

May I ask, by turning the spring during removal and installation, do you find it alters the hop up settings? will I have to pay attention to the orientation of the spring when I put it back to avoid having to set the HopUp again? i never mess with hopup settings to be fair bc i shoot close range. so i cant answer that.

I got my Glock 19X from February 19
Hey so I just got this airgun. Sometimes when I shoot the bb doesn't come out and then I pull the trigger next and it shoots 2 bbs. Also sometimes when I notice it didn't shoot the BB will just be loose inside of the gun, I will then pull out the mag and the bb will fall to the ground.What am I doing wrong or is my gun defective? I just got some gun oil to put on the CO2 cartridges to see if that is the issue. Is my magazine defective?
Idk man try some oil for the pistol maybe diffrent gas or adjust the hop up. Had issue where bb fell out idk try it

Tried taking the slide off the way you did and it got stuck. Now the barrel is stuck and won't let the slide go back all the way and I cant take it apart. Any ideas?

I have the steel bb version and this doesn't work. I cant pull down the notches
idk about the steel bb versions they are not legal here but most of them should just work like i show in the video. real life glocks you have to pull trigger then u can get the slide off with airsoft its the other way around hammer must be reset

My slide gets stuff half way when I release the slide catch and I can’t pull it off. I can still put it back to normal by sliding it back into place but it doesn’t come off for whatever reason
u gotta press the trigger when ur taking the slide off, i had the same problem
No def not... airsoft trigger must always be reset. This is with a real firearm u gotta pull the trigger

Has anyone run into an issue where the gun jams after 2 or three shots? I’m pretty sure it’s a mag issue. I can use another mag and it doesn’t do it. Also this just started, and it’s only the one mag that does it.

@@AirsoftNLD okay it took me actually looking at the hop up mechanism to realize with grate in the wheel controlled it 😂🤣 the little divit on the rim and the center of the loop on the inside don’t match up

@@Blepoo that wasn’t the problem the problem is when you take it apart to clean it you’ll more than likely fuck up where you had the hop up, and the gear itself is ridiculous but I figured it out 😂🤣

You might as well pick up a secondhand glock 19 or 17 honestly - the trigger and barrel assembly would have different mounting brackets you would have to modify, just for it to possibly break from stress after a few mags.

My Umarex 19X is just stuck. Got it apart a while back but it’s never come undone since.
I own multiple real Glocks. Tons of other handguns. Cannot for the life of me disassemble the Umarex Glock. Garbage.
