My dad's got a 1977 Dodge Power Wagon. 450,000 miles so far, and she still runs brilliantly. The only real scary problem its had in the last decade was when the brakes failed. See, around the 450,000 mile mark, things start to wear in ways you're just not expecting, which explains how the brake line wore through. No problem, though! He got the truck back home, fixed the brake line better than new, and we estimate it should be good for another 600,000 - 800,000 miles.
The Sheikh and his vehicles (plus the music) would make for an excellent addition to any post-apocalyptic scene, real or hollywood. I only hope the man constructs a massive, multi-vehicle oasis-themed convoy and travels the deserts saving lost wanderers (or enslaving them)
64:1 must be a mistake. The original is about 5 meters long, which would make the big one 64 x 5 = 320 meters long. You can clearly see it isn't. I think 4:1 is the correct scale, which would also explain for the 64:1-mistake because if the scale is indeed 4:1, the volume is 4 x 4 x 4 = 64 times as large.
Mind=Blown!! And people need to shutup, this is a automotive marvel! I want to see u make a 50 ton replica of a vehicle, o wait you cant! This guy most likely lives in this truck for a long period of time.....i say this is the way to do it!
It's not 64:1 scale and Clarkson doesn't claim it is, the wheels would be over 100 feet high. It's 4:1 scale which means the volume is 64 times the original. That doesn't stop it being a BIG truck though.

I love how humble the rainbow sheikh is in this as if he put a straight pipe on a Ford Sierra and not a huge fuckin work of art

The songs are from Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" and they are
and you gotta love Clarkson's pause like " .. in the entire world " or " .. when you step inside ". Masterpiece.
That's one mobile home I would not mind living in...
@tzkelley It's cubic, 4 times bigger on a side = 64 times bigger volume.
When you absolutely, positively must have a pickup truck the size of a large house my friends...
Wonder how she compares to the Ferd F'Teen-Thousand
i wonder how much it takes to fill up the tank....
