Driving the world’s longest 30-meter limousine around London would be extremely challenging and impractical. Given its inability to turn, the limousine would struggle with London's narrow streets, numerous roundabouts, and frequent intersections. Navigating the city's dense traffic and tight parking spaces would be nearly impossible. Additionally, the limousine's length would hinder it from fitting into most road lanes and cause significant disruptions to traffic flow. Overall, driving such a vehicle in London would require meticulous planning and likely necessitate road closures and special permits.
@@aexetanius Watch the top gear limousine special if you want to see how this would do in the streets of London. Jeremy had to cut his limousine down by like 9 feet just to make it street legal. and he still struggled to get it around corners and stuff.
When I was a kid, I read about this car in the Guinness book of world records. I remember thinking that this was the car really rich people must ride around in.
I'm actually soooooooooo glad they let you give this thing a proper review video! I'd looked it up when I was a kid and there was only ever like 2-3 pictures of it anywhere at all with some articles, but never a look on the inside, never a video, never more than a few angles in still pictures, usually far away. Then recently I inquired about it and discovered it had been rotting away in the back of a building in NY, at the time you could actually see it in Google Earth behind a building just rotting away, a few pictures online taken on sight as well, it look atrocious! So glad it's been restored, and so glad they actually let you take a proper tour of it, no matter what happens to it in the future, this video will always exist. Also, glad a museum has it now, perhaps it'll stay preserved.
This specific car has been around since I was a kid. I remember seeing pics of it in the actual Guinness book world records book lol !! Glad to see it’s still exists and is still running ahhh the 80’s
I hope they do a modern version of this and make it practical (able to drive on a real road, turn corners, and better in out access). I know there are engineers that can do it.

I suggest you diversify into alternative investments that could benefit from the liquidity-driven market conditions. Or better contact an expert to help tailor your portfolio
True, accurate asset allocation is crucial, and some individuals use hedging strategies or allocate part of their portfolio to defensive assets for market downturns. Expert guidance is vital for achieving this. This approach has helped me stay finan-cially secure for over five years, yielding nearly $1 million in returns on invest-ments.
You see in the stock market, momentum begets momentum that can work in the bulls' favor. I think investors who are wary of changing market trends should seek out bear mkt directions from certified strategists.

I remember this car from ages ago. I know it was left to rust away for a long time. I saw this video and thought, "oh, someone properly restored that thing." lol, it looks like they spent like 400 bucks, but it's here again.
To be able to turn, it would need multiple joints, like several articulated buses bodged together, and a different arrangement of wheels. And to be able to reach road speed and function in traffic, it would need four or five engines.
also doesn't mean you shouldn't, this is built for a world record, not for a practical use, people built this for a world record and goal is achieved, seems like everyone happy but you?

I remember this from the Guinness Book of Records in the 80s! (maybe '85, 86?). They did list Jay Ohrberg as the builder - however the newspaper article at 3:50 tells a different story! (It also says it had two 500bhp engines - so presumably not standard malaise-era Eldorado engines?). However I didn't know until today that it wasn't steerable (or hence driveable!). It doesn't seem like making the rear axles steerable would have been that hard given it would had to have been power-assisted anyway & therefore done with hydraulics... but then maybe they ran out of money. Or coke. Or both, more likely :-)
I'm so glad someone decided to preserve that piece of automotive art and history! I was sad to see its deteriorated state a few years back. It really is pointless other than the Guinness Book of World Records, especially since it can steer but not actually turn, but it's still so cool. Thanks for letting us know it is still around and in good hands. 🙂
Just put two bendy things on it like a double bendy bus. A 18m bendy bus is according to a bus driver easier to operate than a 15m (or even a 12m) as its just a 9m bus with a 9m trailer.
