Man, I wish this analog frogman was less expensive and less gigantic. My eye is always caught by these off-center watch heads, with the Seiko Giugiaro "Bishop" being nearly a grail for me.
I would have sworn the RBT was larger; even factoring analog dial illusion. One bit I love of the digi-frog is the offset. Seems the analog model looses some of that but I could be wrong there as well. Thanks for getting this in for a look-see! Oh, and yay for no metal keeper. Seiko should take notice.
Just got mine in. It's awesome. Its weird because even though there's a lot going on and a ton of colors...it doesn't really jump out any more than any of my other GShocks. It's a lot more subdued in person than you would expect.
I wasn't in love with the first 3 analog frogmen, though I didn't hate them either. The monocoque carbon case doesn't get enough attention, that's something new and special. However, $800 is steep. This is the first analog frogman that catches my eye. Yes it's over the top, but that's what's special about it. It's crazy but beautiful. $1100 is too much for me, and I don't think I would wear it often.
It is not a battery indicator, it indicates tides. Thanks for the review. You just hold down the bottom left button for about 7 seconds IIRC to get to dive mode.

Wtf happened to the people designing at Gshock... This is ugly as hell... I used to love this brand.. Now I just don't get where they are going with this designs...
It could be my eyesight but in all the photos I’ve seen and here the watch looks slightly off centre to me ie slightly more to the left of the strap than the right. Anyone agree?
hmm sound much... but of my 20 watches (16 autoos) my most weared and most loved to wear is a G.Shock GST-W300 okay this is only 250 but i also would pay 1000 for a watch i love so much

The H and L scale in the mode dial is actually a tide graph which works once you have selected a location in the G-Shock Connect app!

Bluetooth automatically sets local time when you travel. You can also locate your watch with it.
Well it’s different, funky colours, it will no doubt have some fans. $1100 is a lot for a plastic quartz watch though.
