Good Day! I’m new here. I’ve been binging on van life videos again this autumn. And, again, I have the fever to start van life. I believe that this video should get an award for VAN LIFE VIDEO OF THE YEAR! Everyday I learn more and more about van life, and now have the vision for my Ram Promaster. I’m preparing to go out full time, but am keeping my sticks and bricks - for now. Your presentation was clear and concise, and I love your energy and your Spirit. I will keep checking out your journey. I’ve had my van since January 1, 2020. I had it converted into an ice cream truck. However, God (and the pandemic) had other plans. It’s been a camper van since. I am finally ready to get out of this apartment - and live, not just exist. I was homeless for 6 months in 2011, at the age of 50. On the news. Homeless female vet living out of her car. But God blessed! I was the happiest homeless person in the world. The pool, the park, the library, the church, the playground and hotel hopping on Priceline is my life. But I’m just sitting here. I retired myself at age 50. Walked out on faith (and in pain.) I’m 63 now, been retired for 13 years, and have been promoted to Grandma. I have some health challenges. But I’m ready. Ain’t no stopping me now. I am going to live my childhood dream of becoming a Freelance Photojournalist. And I have 5 books in my head. I want to get them published. Seems that I’m currently an architect and interior decorator, since I began working on my van. I finally chose her name: Princess. It’s going to be plush, with lots of bling. May God richly bless you, and everyone else living their dream van life!
Excellent overview -- especially from the strategic point of view. Also, for those who choose not to run the vehicle heater even briefly, there is an economical way to get similar results. Namely, a small butane heater like the Kovea Cupid. With an 8oz tall can of very affordable fuel you're warming yourself and some exposed hard surfaces for quite a while. Paired with a cooking stove that uses the same fuel it's an efficient setup. Of course, it will produce water vapor and potentially CO, as well as CO2. So, no sleeping while in use -- even with ventilation and a monoxide detector. But after an hour in a van, you're likely pretty toasty anyway!
Thank you for all the tips that was wonderful I've got three that I've used one is a hot water bottle where you can use your camp stove and get your water to boiling
Thank you for this helpful info! Love your beautiful homey bedroom with the cool lights, greenery and fluffy bedding. New here, will have to check out your other vids. AdVANtures, I love it!
I'm a new subscriber and just love the ideas that you gave. I live in Central Florida, and it does get cold at night in CF. Cracking the windows and ventilation is a great way to survive without a heater. Wear warm fleece sweatshirts and sweatpants on top of leggings and long underwear, warm socks, keeping clothes underneath the blankets, warm water bottles,..these work in a house, too. I grew up in an old drafty house without any heater, and this is how I survived every winter. Thanks for such helpful ideas ❤
I love my heating pad....I also have hand warmers. All the gloves and costs. My husband got one of those heat costs that is run by rechargeable battery. He loves it. I love your videos 🤩
I turn my heat on for a while ( little buddy type heater with a fan to distribute the heat) then I get under the covers with sock and I wear a head wrap, then as it gets colder during the night, I cover my head and everything is under the blankets.
Even AC heating blankets and heating pads don’t use a lot of electricity and you can just use them to warm your bedding or sleeping bags before you get inside…have fun stay safe.
When I was a kid, my bedroom had no heat and my parents only allowed me to use the electric blanket for 10 minutes, before I went to bed, to keep the electric bill down. I also had a dense hand crocheted blanket that resembled shag carpet, as the top layer over my regular blanket, shaggy side down, to trap more air.
I'm in SWFL. Last winter was unusually rainy. Excess moisture made everything soggy. If you blow the AC and Heat at the same time for a few minutes, it works great as a dehumidifier. It's perfectly safe for the vehicle. I have an extra large heating pad that draws only 40 watts that I warm my bedding with. I keep some hot hands down by my feet wearing muclucks. I like the snow pants idea. Good stuff Heather 👍✌️❤️ ~ 🦋
Amazon now carries quite an array of USB powered "hand warmers". The ones that are 5k or higher mah will usually also be able to be used as powerbanks.
Put a blackout bed tent on your mattress. They come in all bed sizes. The air inside the tent will be warmer than the air on the outside. (Be mindful of the height, before you buy. Make sure it will fit in the space you have.)
What an excellent compilation of suggestions! Saving this video for when I'm ready to buy, agree fully with keeping one's body warm. I don't yet camp in my minivan but use a microwaveable neck warmer and down blanket to stay cozy at home. I would definitely invest in a heated vest, wool items, hand warmers and a hot water bottle. A bit at a time to get my van ready.
Perfect timing. I’ve got a car camping trip to a mountain hot spring coming up in early November. I’ve been thinking about how to stay warm at night. Ta Da! Great tips. Thanks.
Very useful information! Thank you, Heather. This video is now my go-to guide for cold weather car camping. I definitely want to get some of those hand warmers. Maybe the heated jacket and snow pants as well. One thing you didn’t mention was insulation under your bed. On the floor, I have a lamb’s wool mattress cover with plush carpeting on top, an air layer from the plastic bed frame (utility shelving), 2 mattresses on the frame, and flannel sheets on those. I’m curious if I could improve on this.
Thank you! And thanks for mentioning the underneath the bed insulation, I definitely should have gone into that more! Great idea with the lambs wool, I bet that's very effective!
Hi Heather, I just found your channel and you’re such a sweet girl. Thank you so much for all the good tips. I’m a senior and when I get cold it’s awful so all those tips helped me out a lot and I wrote them all down. Safe travels and God bless 😊
Great information Have you tried a thinsulate coat? Marino wool is great. Cashmere is warmer and softer but more expensive. I have Marino socks. Love them. Thinsulate coat and gloves.
This is true, you really shouldn't idle your vehicle for prolonged periods if you don't have to. It can shorten the life of your engine, require more frequent oil changes, etc... I personally feel comfortable idling mine for very short periods (like 15-20 min)... I justify it as a typical wait time when I used to pick my kids up from school waiting in the car line, or when stuck in bad traffic occasionally, but I definitely wouldn't feel comfortable just letting it run for long periods of time for sure!
I am sooo looking forward to being able to use gear meant for cold weather! Highs in the mid 80s again this week make me wonder if we will ever see “winter” temperatures this year!
Hi I’m a new subscriber. I have a 0* down sleeping bag, down camping blanket, hot hands for down in my foot area, I also have down booties, and a fleece throw. I also have a warm sleeping bag liner. Layers, layers, layers is the key.
I slept in Walmart cheap tent dead of freezing winter in blue ridge mountains ... I used a below freezing sleeping bag with hand warmers !! Worked great. I also wore hat gloves and doubled on my cloths and wore layers of sweatshirts .. I need my windows open in the car. I think it's about the same as a tent
I live in the North country and I use to live in a cold apartment. During the winter months, I had this very warm comforter and at night, I'd fill up a rubber hot water bottle with very hot water from the tap and place it under the blanket at the foot of the bed and that bed was toasty warm all night long. It something that people use to do back in the old days to stay warm at night. If you have one of those small propane cooking burners you can heat up the water on that. It works very well.
If it’s night time Just keeping me warm is fine Once I’ve got to touch stuff or lean against something, it needs to be warm also or else I’m instantly freezing. I can’t function in a freezing space. I have to heat my interior.
Great video! I have to say I've watched several of your videos and it wasn't until now that I realized you say adVANtures as a play on words. I just thought that was how you say adventures 😂😂😂 I'm slow but that's awesome LOL
Excellant and well presented! I am going to be car camping in Ocala Ntl Forest for 3 nights in Feb. I have been t g ere in a small trailor and used the heater. I will not be having a heater in the car so your tips are very helpful!. I love my heating pad so I will look for a rechargeable one. I have subscribed & will check out your ither videos. I lived in FL for 20 yrs. I do not find the winter weather the same as then. 😊
I think you are right about the more recent winters here! And I hope you enjoy - I love the Ocala National Forest, so many beautiful areas to enjoy! I'm glad you found the video helpful 💚
Great video! I used to instruct my soldiers to strip down to their undies in their sleeping bag (aka the fart sack). This would rapidly warm up the interior of the bag. The addition of a hot bottle would make it even easier to heat the inside up. Sadly, we didn't have that. I had to sub. Great smile too!
Hi Heather. Camping in heat is one thing, but I couldn't do it in freezing temperatures. Once it gets below 55 degrees, I'm miserable. I don't like the cold at all. Lol. I've actually bought a heater for just in case. Plus, I take my little dog with me, and I could do that to him. He's a little diva and accustomed to luxuries like heat and a/c. Lol. You always give such great tips and ideas. Do the instant heat packs that are disposable work when camping when it's cold? Hope you have a great week.
I do keep some of the disposable instant warmers on hand for backup/emergencies, but knock on wood, haven't needed to try them. I remember using them in the past though, and them getting quite hot!
hi Heather, new to your channel. You are so likeable! Regarding these tips, I was not looking forward to the cold weather but now it will be totally doable. Also thanks for including the links.
I'm really hoping that by this time next month I'll be completing my intensive treatment program (I have to move into Mayo Clinic for a few weeks first) and that I'll be doing well enough to head out on a short trip by the end of next month (or sooner)! 🤞🤞🤞🤞
I use a few cubicle clips and upholstery pins (if you enter those words into Amazon, you'll see what I mean - I didn't know what they were called initially lol! But I also tuck some of the wire btwn the liner and where the plastic parts meet it on the ceiling, and it keeps it in place pretty well!
I lived in a 2000 Ford taurus in indiana. I was homeless last bad winter we had. We had 3 days in a row 15 below I was able to stay in a motel. Rest of winter I stayed in car I had 2 quilts and two blankets at 25 and below I wrapped up In them above 30 I just put over me. My worst night was 0 degrees
I see you have the weathertech window covers. How do those work for you? I'm thinking of buying. Also how do you keep the windows cracked with the weathertech on? Do you bend them? Do they get get spoiled if bent daily? Thanks in advance :)
I love them! But when it comes to cracking, I usually just crack the 2nd row windows and inch or so, and try go leave a corner on each side pulled away a bit to allow the air to creep in/out better, but tbh I use the magnetic curtains on my front 2 windows usually so that I can have those windows down 2-3" instead. I do have binder clips I can use to clip the WeatherTech to the edge of the window as it's down some, but I only save that for the coldest nights b/c I worry about compromising the window covers eventually
For under $100 bucks id install a 3k deisel heater in that van sumwhere, prolly under the passenger front seat or the rear sumwhere, game changer id be in for lol..
I'd rather have a mini split for a/c I think if I was gonna do something for climate control, but if I was full time, a diesel heater would definitely be tempting!!
@@HeathersHikesAndAdVANtures mini split would be hard to pull off in that small van with no solar and no batterys, small 1200-1600 watt generator would be the only way. Amazon just had 5k all in one chinese deisel heaters in blk for $60 free shipping.🤯👋
Light a candle. It will warm up the interior of a car quickly. Safely, of course. Make sure it won't catch anything on fire, or fall over and get wax everywhere
We have to forgo mountain hiking here, so most of our trails are flat & in our many forests, swamps, and wetlands. I will say it makes it very challenging to train for elevation hikes, but that fine Florida sugar sand on a lot of our trails is still no joke on the legs after a while.
Thank you so very much! Once I was able to adjust my mindset to focusing on keeping myself warm instead of my entire space, it was a real game changer & so helpful! I hope it's just as effective for you! 💚
I lived in my car for 8 1/2 years and got a six month reprieve in an apartment and realized it wasn't worth it to mentally and emotionally struggle trying to come up with a mass amount of money that it cost to upkeep financially one of those living options I personally didn't have a choice to go back into my car but I live in a place where the temperature is getting very cold not what most people think is winter but it can get really bad here like the year for this I think we had temperatures that were one and the coldest prior to that was 8° so even though you think North Carolina is a warm state it's really changed a lot has changed I think everywhere but it gets really really cold in the car because it's metal so it attracts heat and cold there's no insulation whatsoever and then being surrounded by six panes of glass is going to really cool the vehicle down fast and I have struggled with condensation I don't have a heater because mine broke so I can't actually use the defroster either on my windows and I wake up and they are just completely fogged up and most of the time they're soaking wet I don't have anything adequate to get that off and it's very hard to see when I'm first taking off to drive When I am going about 45 miles an hour that engine once it's wormed has produced enough heat to send off some heat through my defroster but it's not blowing so it's very very settle and it will eventually clear the windows until then I'm like panicking because it's really difficult to see I really think that a new design for vehicles is so important especially with the increase in people being displaced from their homes and also the options you know you can choose to stay in an apartment that's overpriced comes with nothing and if you tack on all of the expenses including food and miscellaneous items it's so unfordable and for me a veteran was just asleep and I didn't hang out in it or anything like that so the vehicle is more useful I only have a Corolla so I don't have a lot of room and right now my mind is trying to figure out exactly what I have to remove from this car to build something on the passenger side so I can lay flat because I had a lot of help issues towards the end of me getting out of my car which is what prompted me to check into a shelter which I really avoided like the plague For so many reasons but they had a rapid rehousing program and put me in an apartment that I knew was going to be a challenge to afford and upkeep but of course they're worried about numbers and they get fame from supposedly helping people but you're not really helping if those people end up back on the street and that's essentially what happened here But my mindset and my emotional health are extremely good cause I got that extra layer of healing that I really needed and couldn't get any other way then to be laying flat but it really did take me almost 5 months before my body and the muscle memory was able to adjust sleeping in a bed I was in a lot of pain I had a lot of hip problems a lot of knee problems I'm 56 and I hadn't had those problems before so I really just needed a lot of rest and didn't need to push it But this video is a game changer because it gives me the options that I didn't even know existed especially the heated jacket and then I went to the website they have socks as well so what I have noticed over all the winters that I've spent in my car is that my lower back if it gets cold because there's a draft on either side of the door that comes in and I also believe the trunk is a source of draft so that has to be sealed off and there has to be something to block the airflow down by the sides of the door which is probably gonna have to be made and of course my feet and head those are the places where it really really causes me to be colder than I should be so yeah they have heated gloves also as well as the socks and the jacket in the vest and I think they have something else I forget anyway this was amazing I really appreciate the information because I know so many people who are displaced and if I'm able to get myself together which is what I'm trying to do I'll be able to help those people too because they don't have an income and they don't have a way to afford those things but maybe the company would be interested in partneringI'll have to find out
Thank you for your thoughtful reply & feedback. Rent really has gotten so unaffordable, it can definitely limit your options. I'm happy to hear you are in a good emotional place though - that is definitely a huge factor. I'm wishing you all the best luck and sending good vibes your way (and hopes for a milder winter 🤞🤞🤞)

Great tips, thanks for sharing!!
Vaseline is good as a fire starter, nothing else, in fact it’s toxic , never put it on your skin
Baked potatoes wrapped in foil work well, too. Newer version of this is Hot Hands & Feet packets.
U can handwash cashmere in cool water with woolite. Don’t twist, squish. Then lay flat.
@@YeshuaKingMessiah lay it flat on a towel, put 2nd towel on top and gently roll it up and put pressure on it to get excess water out. Then lay it flat on a mesh rack to dry. Woolite is definitely a sweater saver!
Walked out on faith (and in pain.)
I’m 63 now, been retired for 13 years, and have been promoted to Grandma.
Good luck on your advantures in Princess, excited for you!! And thank you so much, I really appreciate it!!
Thank you, and thanks for the additional tip!
Thank you for all the tips that was wonderful
I've got three that I've used one is a hot water bottle where you can use your camp stove and get your water to boiling
Great way to conserve power/fuel by using the campfire too, thank you!!
Boy! This is smart, I live in vernal, Utah and it gets cold here
I,m car camping this weekend. Thanks for the tips. Stay safe out there.
Thank you so much, I'm glad you found it helpful! Stay warm and safe! 💚
Thank you for this helpful info! Love your beautiful homey bedroom with the cool lights, greenery and fluffy bedding. New here, will have to check out your other vids. AdVANtures, I love it!
Hi, and welcome! Thank you so much, I'm glad you found the video helpful!!
Thank you so much! And thanks for watching!
I love my heating pad....I also have hand warmers. All the gloves and costs. My husband got one of those heat costs that is run by rechargeable battery. He loves it. I love your videos 🤩
The heated coat really is a game changer (and the hand warmers too!!) Thank you so much!!
I turn my heat on for a while ( little buddy type heater with a fan to distribute the heat) then I get under the covers with sock and I wear a head wrap, then as it gets colder during the night, I cover my head and everything is under the blankets.
Yes, nice an cozy in your little cocoon, perfect! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for ideas. Hot drink before bed will help too.
Oooh, yes, good tip! Hot cocoa or tea before bed would definitely help!
Then I get cold because I have to get up to pee. 🙃

Even AC heating blankets and heating pads don’t use a lot of electricity and you can just use them to warm your bedding or sleeping bags before you get inside…have fun stay safe.
Very true! Just that little bit makes a big difference!!
@@HeathersHikesAndAdVANtures my great grandmother used to warm the bed with this iron thingy on a broomstick from her coal fireplace.
Good stuff Heather 👍✌️❤️

Yes, we really did have a rainy winter, didn't we!?
Great tips, thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much!! 💕💕
Amazon now carries quite an array of USB powered "hand warmers". The ones that are 5k or higher mah will usually also be able to be used as powerbanks.
Thanks for the tip!
Wow
@papoochacoo I have a pair and they're great, three heat settings and a little screen that says how much power is left ⚡️👍
Lov that cordless heated coat!! Could get it for my home 2
Yes! I use it at home base on cold mornings, too!!
Where did u find that
I came across your channel and so glad I did!! Great advice and good things to have in your car. Thank you! 😊
Put a blackout bed tent on your mattress. They come in all bed sizes. The air inside the tent will be warmer than the air on the outside. (Be mindful of the height, before you buy. Make sure it will fit in the space you have.)
Good tip, thanks!!!
Those microwaveable neck warmers are great - I've found them helpful at home base for my neck and back stiffness as well!! Thank you!
Perfect timing. I’ve got a car camping trip to a mountain hot spring coming up in early November. I’ve been thinking about how to stay warm at night. Ta Da! Great tips. Thanks.
Yay! I'm glad you found it helpful, thanks for watching & have fun on your trip!
you're living my dream. hope you love your life!
I just ordered rechargeable hand warmers. I had never heard of them.😊
You're gonna love them! I just added them last year & they were such a huge help, I wished I'd known about them sooner!
Hi Heather, I just found your channel and you’re such a sweet girl. Thank you so much for all the good tips. I’m a senior and when I get cold it’s awful so all those tips helped me out a lot and I wrote them all down.
Safe travels and God bless 😊
I'm so glad you found them helpful! Welcome!! 💕💕
Great information
Have you tried a thinsulate coat?
Marino wool is great.
Cashmere is warmer and softer but more expensive.
I have Marino socks. Love them.
Thinsulate coat and gloves.
I heard that just idling to get some heat isn't good for the engine, don't know if this is true though. Nice video, great ideas
I am so right there with you!!!
Good tips, the turtleneck water bottle was my favorite!
Isn't it adorable, too!? Thank you!
Hi I’m a new subscriber. I have a 0* down sleeping bag, down camping blanket, hot hands for down in my foot area, I also have down booties, and a fleece throw. I also have a warm sleeping bag liner.
Layers, layers, layers is the key.
Oooh, I definitely need down booties!! Thanks for sharing!
I think you're right about it being similar to a tent in that regard! And it's amazing what a good sleeping bag and layers can do!!
Some awesome tips, thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much!
I have snow pants/,overalls!!! Great wind breaker too
They're so useful and comfy!!
You’re so cute and helpful, thank you!😊

A neck warmer along with a cap or a balaclava works well for keeping the head area warm.
Great idea! I do have a couple of balaclavas I've used on cold, windy hikes, I should definitely add that to my winter gear for at camp! Thanks!
Yes, the hot water bottles are so effective! I was surprised how long it keeps its warmth! Thanks for watching!
Thanks Heather for refreshing my memory of winter supplies. Very practical items too. Hope you're feeling better (you look like it anyway!).
Thank you!! 💕
I heat my diner in a hot Logic under my blankets for added heat then unplug it and put it back after taking my dinner out
Oh that is smart!
If it’s night time
Just keeping me warm is fine
Once I’ve got to touch stuff or lean against something, it needs to be warm also or else I’m instantly freezing. I can’t function in a freezing space.
I have to heat my interior.
I understand! It's definitely no fib to sit in a space trying to function while you're shivering 💚
You have a beautiful van and smile

Excellant and well presented! I am going to be car camping in Ocala Ntl Forest for 3 nights in Feb. I have been t g ere in a small trailor and used the heater. rain pants work well too especially when you're wearing po)ypro longjohns
Good tip, thanks!!
Thank you so much, and welcome! So true about the body heat, too!
It can get down to negative 40 here in wisconsin!
Brrrrr...that's a whole different ballgame!
@@HeathersHikesAndAdVANtures It sure is. I found a usb powered heated mat and a power bank.

Oh my goodness that is COLD cold!!
Try it in Montana 😂 I did for 3 years. -40 before wind chill.
You need to look into one of those little vevor diesel heaters I bet they'd even send you one if you made a video on it.
It is tempting, I can't lie!! If I get to take some longer trips next winter, I may consider it in the future!!
Really great tips and advice, thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you lady!! 💕

Omgg ❤ what do you use to keep the lights up ? 😩 mines don’t last with these little hook things to have
I use a few cubicle clips and upholstery pins (if you enter those words into Amazon, you'll see what I mean - I didn't know what they were called initially lol!

@@HeathersHikesAndAdVANtures Thanks so much, that's very helpful!

Just curious, where do you hike in Florida since there’s no mountains?
We have to forgo mountain hiking here, so most of our trails are flat & in our many forests, swamps, and wetlands. I will say it makes it very challenging to train for elevation hikes, but that fine Florida sugar sand on a lot of our trails is still no joke on the legs after a while.
My lesson of the day: It’s not about keeping the vehicle warm, it’s about keeping yourself warm.
Thanks Heather! You’re the best. Tara is beautiful.
Thank you so very much! Once I was able to adjust my mindset to focusing on keeping myself warm instead of my entire space, it was a real game changer & so helpful! I hope it's just as effective for you! 💚
You should get a remote start..
I have a cat. Not sure what ill do
That does complicate things! At least they'll have a built in fur coat. You may end up having company in your sleeping bag with you!! 💕💕
Yes!!!!
I lived in my car for 8 1/2 years and got a six month reprieve in an apartment and realized it wasn't worth it to mentally and emotionally struggle trying to come up with a mass amount of money that it cost to upkeep financially one of those living options I personally didn't have a choice to go back into my car but I live in a place where the temperature is getting very cold not what most people think is winter but it can get really bad here like the year for this I think we had temperatures that were one and the coldest prior to that was 8° so even though you think North Carolina is a warm state it's really changed a lot has changed I think everywhere but it gets really really cold in the car because it's metal so it attracts heat and cold there's no insulation whatsoever and then being surrounded by six panes of glass is going to really cool the vehicle down fast and I have struggled with condensation I don't have a heater because mine broke so I can't actually use the defroster either on my windows and I wake up and they are just completely fogged up and most of the time they're soaking wet I don't have anything adequate to get that off and it's very hard to see when I'm first taking off to drive
When I am going about 45 miles an hour that engine once it's wormed has produced enough heat to send off some heat through my defroster but it's not blowing so it's very very settle and it will eventually clear the windows until then I'm like panicking because it's really difficult to see
I really think that a new design for vehicles is so important especially with the increase in people being displaced from their homes and also the options you know you can choose to stay in an apartment that's overpriced comes with nothing and if you tack on all of the expenses including food and miscellaneous items it's so unfordable and for me a veteran was just asleep and I didn't hang out in it or anything like that so the vehicle is more useful I only have a Corolla so I don't have a lot of room and right now my mind is trying to figure out exactly what I have to remove from this car to build something on the passenger side so I can lay flat because I had a lot of help issues towards the end of me getting out of my car which is what prompted me to check into a shelter which I really avoided like the plague
For so many reasons but they had a rapid rehousing program and put me in an apartment that I knew was going to be a challenge to afford and upkeep but of course they're worried about numbers and they get fame from supposedly helping people but you're not really helping if those people end up back on the street and that's essentially what happened here
But my mindset and my emotional health are extremely good cause I got that extra layer of healing that I really needed and couldn't get any other way then to be laying flat but it really did take me almost 5 months before my body and the muscle memory was able to adjust sleeping in a bed I was in a lot of pain I had a lot of hip problems a lot of knee problems I'm 56 and I hadn't had those problems before so I really just needed a lot of rest and didn't need to push it
But this video is a game changer because it gives me the options that I didn't even know existed especially the heated jacket and then I went to the website they have socks as well so what I have noticed over all the winters that I've spent in my car is that my lower back if it gets cold because there's a draft on either side of the door that comes in and I also believe the trunk is a source of draft so that has to be sealed off and there has to be something to block the airflow down by the sides of the door which is probably gonna have to be made and of course my feet and head those are the places where it really really causes me to be colder than I should be so yeah they have heated gloves also as well as the socks and the jacket in the vest and I think they have something else I forget anyway this was amazing I really appreciate the information because I know so many people who are displaced and if I'm able to get myself together which is what I'm trying to do I'll be able to help those people too because they don't have an income and they don't have a way to afford those things but maybe the company would be interested in partneringI'll have to find out
Thank you for your thoughtful reply & feedback. Rent really has gotten so unaffordable, it can definitely limit your options. I'm happy to hear you are in a good emotional place though - that is definitely a huge factor. I'm wishing you all the best luck and sending good vibes your way (and hopes for a milder winter 🤞🤞🤞)
Thank you
