This video has inspired me to possibly start posting videos again. I stopped at 550 subscribers. I have the upmost respect for you and the dedication it takes to make quality videos like you do. I didn’t start TH-cam to make money I really just wanted something to look back at when I’m older and see what I built and to educate people on production agriculture, however It would be nice to get a small monthly check especially this year after hurricane Helene devastated my crops.

We love how positive you are about your farming techniques even though sometimes it’s a little rough. You do a great job explaining and teaching. Thanks for all you do.
Would love to hear some details on the not so fun parts like the cost of your transmission on your 8530 and the downtime and stuff like that would be awesome. Thanks again.

Thanks. You be the best farmer you can be and I have no criticism of what you do. I don't know your farm but I do know my techniques won't work for you due to geography, soil, and weather conditions.
@@pc5569 exactly right. Every crop/location has specific needs. 30 miles south of me they farm the same crops with entirely different methods. I’m on the end of the red clay and they are sitting in the beginning of the coastal sand
Good video, wondered how you made any money on TH-cam. What did John Deere think about the video where you had tractor problems with their tractor. Do John Deere or other equipment companies try to influence your opinion of their products??? As always good luck to you..
@@johnscurlock1204 Corporate John Deere doesn’t know I exist and likely could not care less what I think/experience. The newest John Deere product on my farm is 25 years old. I may be a 5th generation customer, but since I’m not buying million $ combines/cotton pickers or dozens of $400,000 tractors I’m not even on their radar.
@ It’s a shame when companies get so large that they don’t care about their customers. I guess it’s the same with everything else, they don’t care about service , got your money once when you bought the product and that’s good enough.
@@PatrickShiversIt's always been the local dealership that makes the Brand sell in any area. I can drive any direction for an hour, and likely pass a dealer for one brand, but not for any others unless I go in a specific direction. Guess which brand is most popular in my area...
Excellent breakdown of your video income stream. I really doubt if you got much work done with a Pro videographer filming you. I had a very pleasant, and distinct honor of having a Pro videographer visit me a few decades ago. Great guy, easy to get along with, and he got tons of what he needed. But I didn't get much done. By no means a complaint, I enjoyed the time with him, but it was not a productive 2 days,but worth every minute of it!
@@MoneyTactics-n2r definitely works better for bigger channels. Hard to get demo equipment if you’re not giving them a lot of exposure and potential sales.
@@justlooking2013 something you may try for your channel. Use all your drone footage to create 50-60 second shorts. Release 1 a day. Focus on picking a thumbnail that is really appealing. Try it for 30 days and see what happens to your views/subscription rate. I got over 1,000 subs from 1 short.

The corporations aren’t willing to foot the bill for the advertisement. I gave the Elite Ag (Lemken) salesman Adam Verner and Atlantic Southern (MF) salesman Wesley Stephens screen time, thanks, and posted their contact info in the videos they helped support. Adam told me the videos I did for him sold some equipment.
