This seems to be the light I use most often for narrative film. It is just so versatile. CCT for normal scenes, then red for horror scenes, like revealing Freddy. I used blue for a psychologically disturbing scene, with an additional weak warm light to bring out skin tones on the talent. You can "paint" any room, and anything in it, any color with this light, the saturation is so insane. Of course there are other times when a 60d (with or without gel) is what's needed, as well as a 100d, but the P60c seems to be the one I am setting up first. Nice over all review on this light. Interesting since you are a photographer and also a vlogger and therefore have a different context for the uses of this light.

I had a wedding reception move from outside to inside because of bad weather and the “party mode” on this light saved my wedding video and made for a much more enjoyable dance floor for the wedding party.

I have the three pack and they are great! I sold a couple P300Cs which were wonderful, but for my uses, I prefer the P60Cs.

Super agree with you Ben, I was super skeptical about buying the aputure 60x cob just because having to use it with the app, and no physical control available after buying it, really like it (although would love to have a control option) now I have 2 of the 60x 👏 looking forward to buy the P60c to complete my basic wedding - video setup, thanks man, love your content

Very good and informative video! I'm on the other end of the spectrum and trying to figure out if this could be something for my run n' gun jobs where I need something versatile and quick to work with sometimes!
    Anyway, good video! Subbed!

Is the casing of the panel light plastic or metal?

Feels plasticy to me, but I could be wrong with the random composite stuff they have these days.
