I was building a similar build, roll an insane 379 white and got almost perfect rolls. Saw thatt you were using warp nexas and since I had an available change, went to rebless. I hit earn blessing and accidently deleted the staff. With 2.5k plasteel and a dream rolled a 376 white and got nearly identical perks and blessings on the first try. The Emperor protects.
I'm sorry to hear this, bro. I've read about multiple occasions where people asked Game Support to restore a lost item and they actually got it back. You should definitely open a ticket and if you get your staff back link it here to let me know it worked :D
I'm glad you enjoyed the build. I think it's my favorite psyker build to date too. I have another one utilizing Void Strike that I also like quite much. Trying to find enough motivation to upload it :P
I love this build. It is really fun and when you see your Mates can just stand there and you solo a whole Wave on hardest difficulty THAN you knowyou are the Terminator and next to it looks awesome :D
recently got into playing purgatus and wow this build is a lot of fun, ive only killed myself twice but the damage is so god damn high that i want to keep learning it. ty for the build
Of all the builds I've showcased recently this one is by far the craziest build. From start to finish of a mission it feels like you are trying to find balance between Godhood and Madness :D Therefore, the voices told me to spread the word!
Scriers is the best. It seemed like the single worst blitz to me, till I started theory crafting with it. Now, I have only 1 build that doesn't use it. I personally tend to use an Illissi with the peril transfer on weakspot hit blessing, Brain Burster, Empower psyonics, and Purgatus staff (for clutch CC). Can almost perma run scriers, getting free hits of BB on elites with almost instant charging, and with the sword quelling peril, you can get to max stacks of scriers in a horde. Jusy use the staff when the hordes are too big (ie. able to encircle you easily). Makes for a very fun and challenging build that's extremely versatile and very effective if played right.
I like your idea about using illisi with Exorcist (transfer peril). I will definitely try it to min max my scrier's stacks! Have to think what the second blessing would be tho, I like uncanny on Dueling Sword because the stabs deal a lot of damage to carapace and bosses with uncanny. Alternatively I'd probably go either Unstable Power or Blazing Spirit
@Yobiraion It is definitely not weapon dependent apart from staff (the soul fire transfer required to amplify the staff effect), though switching staff for high rof autogun can be just as effective. I am particularly fond of the Illissi due to its attack profiles and flexiblity. Though I actually should have put projectile block blessing on it rather than soul fire blessing.
@@huffinLeeroy In my mind changing purgatus for IAG is a totally different build (the Gun Psyker). I'll probably try illisi with Exorcist and Unstable Power to see how it fairs with Crushers and go from there :D nice input btw, tyvm!
@Yobiraion 100% agree. Because then you may as well remove the two soulblaze perks, and it plays very different. With so many shooters in Auric, I've found the Deflector blessing to be helpful - though at the expense of dps. My pleasure. It's such a fun build (but tricky to play) - it just has an answer to every situation! I couldn't not share it.
@@michaelkolano8686 haha that's probably the best explanation i've heard so far. indeed it feels exactly that way. constantly living on the edge, one wrong cast release and you're done
Great build with some insane damage. Used it trying the purgatus for the first time. real weird staff, you have to think like a flanker because your range is so limited, so gunners can seriously grease you. You can do some john wick flamethrower moves as you slide into packs of gunners spinning around killing them all on HISTG.
Wouldn't it be better to run Inner Tranquility (6% peril reduction per warp charge) over Essence Harvest (gain 30% toughness over 5 seconds)? I figured peril reduction synergizes with your scrier's gaze and you regen a lot of toughness from the earlier talents.
That's totally up to you. I don't think there's a right or wrong way to go about it. I just personally felt more comfortable with Essence Harvest since I like building up peril fast and then maintaining it / managing it ^^
indeed, i was so busy dealing with the horde that it took me a good 30 seconds to realize someone joined the game and started rescuing the team lol. Stole my clutch Dopamine xD
I notice when you're fighting ragers you tend to try to use the staff's charge or, with the dueling sword, pushing--do remember that the primary of the purgatus, and the special of the dueling sword will stagger ragers. The primary of the purgatus is actually some of the most amazing CC in the game.
I went down once because the ragers caught me off guard (I was staggering 2-3 of them and another one came from my right and downed me) In any other occasion that I don't stagger them it's because I learned my lesson and kept a really good distance to allow me to cast and melt them. Also, in case you are talking about the 2 scab ragers at the start of the video, they also caught me off guard, my HP was too low and I didn't wanna risk swapping to staff and getting hit 0.01 seconds before i can use a primary attack on them :P
For the charging of the staff's secondary, when do you use quick charges vs something like full charge, it looks like you mostly do quick charges. What does higher charge give besides cast length?
Higher Charge only lets you cast longer (thus applying more stacks) for better Peril Economy. Doing quick charges actually ramps up your Peril faster. On paper, you would think "then I should only do longer charges and longer casts" but in reality 2 quick charges when you are low on peril will (1) build Warp Flurry stacks (2) build peril = more damage (3) get your fire stacks ticking sooner on the enemies rather than waiting for a long first cast. Now, on top of that, add the fact that Scrier's Peril management is even more complicated than normal Peril management and you may end up only doing short casts and quells in a high-intensity situation. I hope that helps! :)
(2) mod that shows kills / best combo is called "kill tracker" - www.nexusmods.com/warhammer40kdarktide/mods/143 (1) I am not sure what you are describing there, can you send me the time stamp?
I believe it's the "who are you" mod: www.nexusmods.com/warhammer40kdarktide/mods/127 If you try it please let me know if it's indeed this one, otherwise I'll check again!
I love it because it has higher skill cap than venting and to be fair even venting has a decent skill cap even though most people play it super safe and then wonder why purgatus doesn't seem to deal a lot of damage when they use it. I can usually tell a good purgatus player by the total crits
Tested this build to try something new. Actually, very bad setup. Yes, you get a lot of damage, situative, but with scrier gase you get a lot of extra overheat and quell management, and this removes all benefits from extra damage. Again, you do more damage, but spend more time on mechanics management, and in result effect is worse than no damage buffs at all. And speaking of utility, two other ultimates give you other tactic opportunities which are very important for hard missions.
You are free to judge for yourself. I disagree (if you ask me). You actually want to be above 80% peril at all times when playing Purgatus whether you use Scrier's or Venting Shriek, therefore, Scriers actually helps you stay super high on Peril. But yeah.. it takes some time to get used to that so I really don't blame you. I like both purgatus builds but this one is my favorite

So for this staff what are best stats. I
tried this build out.... had more fun than any other psyker build i've ever made or tried. THANK YOU FOR ITS CREATION!

Haven't made a Psyker yet, but hot damn this looks awesome! Thanks a bunch and love your editing style.
A very interesting build, definitely I'll try it
You WILL like it brother. Trust! :D
There is just something oddly satisfying watching Scrier's gaze purgatus gameplay.
I concur! I watched the video highlights 3-4 times already even tho I actually played them too xD
Scryers with any staff is nigh suicidal so I guess it would always be interesting

So the purgatus staff actually applies soulblaze as well?
yes! soulblaze is basically "psyker burn stacks" and can be applied by psyker's purgatus, talents and blessings
For the charging of the staff's secondary, when do you use quick charges vs something like full charge, it looks like you mostly do quick charges. What does higher charge give besides cast length?

If you don't mind me asking, what mods (1) notify you over gaining a warp charge and (2) shows your best combo/kill total?
(2) mod that shows kills / best combo is called "kill tracker" - www.nexusmods.com/warhammer40kdarktide/mods/143
(1) I am not sure what you are describing there, can you send me the time stamp?
Wouldn’t it be better to go for Peril resist on warp charges?
i haven't tried this build in the new patch but in general i like to play constantly on high peril so i can have high damage and crit at all times
What mod is counting +× in the middle of your screen?
you probably mean the kill tracker: www.nexusmods.com/warhammer40kdarktide/mods/143
let me know if that's the one you are talking about :)
Which mod is telling you if someone is on steam or xbox? Thanks
I believe it's the "who are you" mod: www.nexusmods.com/warhammer40kdarktide/mods/127

That was it. Thanks again.@@Yobiraion
What's that mod that counts kills?
Thought it was just me that ran gaze with the purg I never see pyskers run gaze deffo requires hella learning this
I love it because it has higher skill cap than venting and to be fair even venting has a decent skill cap even though most people play it super safe and then wonder why purgatus doesn't seem to deal a lot of damage when they use it. I can usually tell a good purgatus player by the total crits
Try sometime a low warp res purgatus, like around 10-35%
Blast of a weapon, telling you
is that UI a mod?
yes, if you wanna know something specific about the UI you can ask more specifically :)

lol no you may be decent at DT, but this is not a meta, nor even good build in comparison to other options
