Tell you what, brother... I never thought any gun could get me off my Glock 23 which I carried for years. This S&W 2.0 in .40 did, though. It is a beautiful gun. It just feels good, and is a real shooter. dropped an Apex trigger in it with some great sights,, and it shoots the bejeezus out of all by guns. Thanks for posting on this great gun!
I would highly recommend picking one of these up, IMO the best pistol out there for the money. I see them all the time for $400. I think gunprodeals has the compact version on sale right now for $391!!
By all means Sig makes a good pistol. That being said they are bulky and heavy and bore axes is much higher than a M&P 40 or 9. I traded my Sig for my 2.0 for that reason. I own all of the S&W shields and 2.0 series of M&Ps. Yes M&P is not much cheaper than Glock. Glocks are over rated with cheap plastic parts where they should be steal like the sites and guide rod. Also with Glock it's the same old cheaply made pistol every year and call them new by changing gen number. Slides are thin, triggers are mushy and full of cheap plastic parts. M&Ps are worth every penny.
Smitten Weston M&P 2.0 40 caliber 4-in barrel 15 shot and 13 shot magazines it comes with a wonderful texture on the grip plus three or four different sizes so you could exchange them to fit your hand really easy it's about the same price as a Glock 23 or Glock 22 but the Glock is much thicker and just spooky looking this gun really stands out he really have to look at it at a gun store it's a great buy look into it 🇺🇸💯👍🍀🇨🇮💯🍀
I just got/took possession of mine fr the local gun/pawn shop where I work as a firearm cleaning tech. Have wanted one of these for a long time. Gonna test-fire/self-qualify with it real soon. Centerfire handgun ammo has been next to impossible to get here in E. Miss...has gotten expensive too. Have a box/50rnds of good PMC 165gr fmjfp rnds. Just trying to at least group well with the pistol/rounds. Am a revolver shooter, but have fired 9mm & 45auto rounds before out of semiautomatic pistols. This is my first-owned auto pistol. The store will let me fire in their indoor archery/pistol range, if I need to. Hope all will go well.

Don't worry, NICS sometimes is hamstrung by glitches in their system. When transferring my M&P on Monday, I was fortunate for my chk.to right on thru, considering I moved twice since my last firearm purchase, and that was 2006 in AZ...live in MS now. If you've got a clean bkgrnd, no skirmishes, felonies, you should be proceeded really doon. Good luck with your gun purchase. Fire well!!

I notice I shoot my M&P 40 low.. groupings are really good, but it always hits lower than what my sight picture is on.. I've never had that problem with any other gun before.

My 2.0 40 leaves a lot of brass shavings under the slide from day one. Never seen that in any of my pistols. Is that common in yours? Runs flawlessly otherwise. No problems with a storm lake gen 1 357 sig barrel extended and ported or my 9 conversion.
This is just the regular size, or I think they call it the "Duty" size. I have all of the sizes now, these are some of the nicest pistols on the market. I may be biased, I love S&W products! Thanks for watching sir, have a great weekend.

This is my favorite gun. It's certainly better than a Glock 22. It has a rough texture grip and I like that. It just feels better all the way around.

Fallofmind I haven't noticed any shavings but I'll keep an eye out. Should be shooting again tomorrow if I can work it into my schedule.
