- In this video i cover debunking the mouse and keyboard data queue sizes, this is a very controversial tweak that a lot of people question if it helps or not. i go over calculations in order to prove if it works to help latency or not

I just changed my mousedataqueuesize from 20 to 15 like a day ago and I knew about this for a long time, I didnt expect you to post this right after I changed my queue size. Bro I absolutely love regedit tweaks and stuffs that revolves around regedit. It's just so effective. Changing regedit things randomly can break your computer tho, but hey, Khorvie never lets us down

Also small advice for anyone setting buffer size too low: if you use AHK, this can lead to input losses making your AHK unreliable!

Get better hardware. No tweak can make your machine perform above its specs. Most of this stuff ends up being placebo anyway.

I've been doing this trick for years. It helps most on older cpus with less cores. you should keep it at 100 and move our mouse around your desktop and watch the cpu usage jump up and then try lowering the que size and watch how less it goes up. I could only imagine even more cpu usage from 8k mice.
8k mice are known to be pretty buggy anyways, 1k is as far as most people should need
@@khorvietech If u wanna stay "in current pro specs" I'd say the cutoff is 2k, anything above 4k is just a fucking LAG STORM (depending on specs). But then again 1khz is still a pretty good contender and probably will be for another decade!

После этого видео я полез в реестр и обнаружил, что данные параметры были на катастрофически низких значениях, а именно 10. Я поменял на 30 для клавиатуры и мыши и о чудо! После перезагрузки все вновь стало работать стабильно как швейцарские часы 🎉

в моем случае - 36 (54) стабильное решение (где-то читал, что оно точно соответствует размеру буфера для сенсора моей мыши). Razer Viper проводная.
20 тоже без сбоев работает.
Значения ниже 15 - не стабильны.

Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling
Should it be Off or On ? I have a 7800x3D and 4080 16GB VRAM and 32 GB CL30 with a 1200W PSU, please let me know if you know anything about keeping this on or off, keeping this on might be giving me stutters but it could also be something else, im not entirely sure tho, would love your take !
I think on would be best, but ultimately every machine is different and needs its own testing

@@khorvietechis input data loss different then packet loss? different like your shots don’t register as fast? Is this something I should try out for controller response time. Overall input delay. Or is this for mnk players? If i can get better input delay or memory usage I always want to. Those two things are big for me. I have one game on a 16gb ddr5 ram and I get 80% usage when I play.
@bkid1776 yes they’re different one is hardware and the other is networking. Packet loss might lag behind while input loss just won’t move/work at all

So if i set it to 40 or lower for both mouse and keyboard, it would help with input delay? I play counter-strike and in this game sometimes you could win a duel just by being 20-50ms faster

i like to use 16 on mouse and 10 on the keyboard because whenever i put those numbers lower strange thinks happens like the mouse not being able to click even tho the lm button is still detected and pressing random letters on the keyboard write other keys on even other languages like japanese or arabic even tho i only have spanish keyboard language installed ññññ
what if we use softwares like raw accel for custom mouse acceleration does it affect that too also my keyboard is like 250hz or 125 whats a safe number for that??
I don’t think outside softwares should cause an issue for which value to use

W video, as for me best working value are for keyboard 4(for optical and magnetic works) and mouse 16(for 1k or 4k hz, lower value didn't work)❤

Ik you said you wouldn't make any more timer resolution videos, but can you make a video suggesting an app that i can use to launch the DPC lat to minimize to system tray instead of to the background,
*I can make a shortcut to the tool and open its properties and set it to start minimized
*I can use task scheduler to launch that shortcut on startup so it starts automatically everytime i login
*use a thirdparty app that lets you minimize apps to system tray. (i don't know of any)
Ik it might be a lot of work but once its set and done you dont have to worry about launching it everytime you wanna play a game

I think most people recommend using the task scheduler and if inside of the shortcut you do the no console code from my Amit guide it should minimize it

Probably changed with group policy, you’d have to find the specific setting within there

yo khorvie, my games runs pretty clean (2080ti i9900k 32gb 4000mhz) but like every 5-10 seconds theres a small stutter like 0.1 seconds long but i dont know how to fix it…
Try looking into keeping a cleaner background, debloat everything you don’t use while gaming

It works, just not anything huge
So, I've put mine to 0 for both keyboard and mouse. At first I had issues where my mouse kind of did things on its own. But after some experiments I have both set to 0 and I can really feel the difference between that and even 25. I don't know, whenever I switch back to 25 I feel the delay and switch back

@@khorvietech So I gave the csrss the highest possible priority over the registry. And I've set my mouse and gpu on different cores. I'm not that god with tech and don't really know how it worked for me some day, it took a couple of attempts and it didn't work every time, but now it's stable and I don't want to go back. But I probably won't work for everyone because when I first tried it I had many issues like only when I started my game and tried to play it, my mouse would jump around on the screen and it didn't stop. My keyboard wouldn't work sometimes but before I started a game or heavy program it worked fine and felt so responsive that it kept me going until it worked.

@@eren5919 It all depends on the specific mouse's buffer size. But 36 is the ok value for most modern mice like logitech g pro or newer models.

I think 8khz is a scam, tends to cause a lot of issues on most machines. But yeah you can still give those values a try
@@khorvietech I already own one of those mice. It was originally 4hz and it got a free 8k firmware update. I use it for CS2 and personally it feels cleaner than 1k

Earlier i checked my cpu usage when i was moving my mouse and it was going from 3 to 33 and now from what i saw after i put 30 , it js goes like 10 or in that range , its def a change

I have a specific problem with very slow response in an Android emulator (gameloop) for years (on other emulators the response is good)
Do you think there is something I can do to solve the problem?

If it’s only slow on one emulator maybe it’s the app itself, if it happened on multiple emulators you could say it’s potentially a problem with your machine, but if it’s only one it might be just a poorly optimized app

If you can boot into bios you can change ram speeds there, for virtual memory it depends on a per system basis

after testing :
if you go low like ( 25 ) you will have glitch with your mouse like flickring or something your mouse might stop working for like 3 sec or 2 sec,
note that i am using Razer viper 2v pro wireless , maybe it work better with wire mice
Personally ( 50 ) is the most consist number all of them
also, ( 100 ) is the default.
I have a G502 mouse and i use 16 and it feels responsive
for me both are already set to 23 because i used exm premium utility i guess

I wouldn’t go that low without testing others first, like I recommended, start at 40 and work your way down

Hey, does this trick fix stutters when playing on a higher mouse polling rate ? (like 4kHz)
I've been having a lot of stutters in multiple fps games even with 1000Hz and wanted to know if it could do the trick. (I have a pretty high end rig so I'm pretty sure it's a software issue)

When I'm watching those types of shorter videos, I'll listen but don't understand anything. Then when you change something in the registry, for example, I just do it even though I didn't understand. So you could say "download virus.exe" and I would do it.
