ARB 2.5m awning fitting and review (on my 100 series Land Cruiser)

I needed an awning for camping and track days, and after looking at a few options I purchased this ARB 2.5m pullout. Here's how I got it to fit, and some comments on build quality.

Nice work. I also have a 100 series, and I'm probably not far from you [Im near Edinburgh]. I was thinking about getting an ARB roof rack - you need to remove the factory roof rails to install them - and an awning similar to yours. Its an expensive business!

I've got a set of Gamaviti mounts I imported, which go into the factory bolt positions. Tricky to fit, but gives a load of options for putting on DIY racks. Arb ones don't fit the UK 100 series unfortunately. Found that out the hard way!

I have the frontrunner 2.5m same as this one .. I am planning to mount it on my lx470 oem roof rack with 2 mounts but I am afraid it will fly away

Well after a year mine hasn't budged whatsoever. You might be okay with two mounts also.
