The schools I applied to actually don’t have waitlists 🤷🏼♀️, we’d just have to reapply in the next cycle. Now I’m a CNA and in LVN school, then I’ll try again for RN. Some schools give bonus points for experience, which I didn’t have at the time

@@daneshiagreen5603 hi! Just saw this, it is online. And you can take your general courses before taking the teas.
@@yuriilove7260 I was told by WCU Miami that I have to have an Associate's degree to get into their program.
Hi Im planning to apply to West Coast for Fall 2021. I was wondering if we have to apply for the scholarships or they automatically give us one depending on our grades and stuff
Hello, I am wrapping up my second to last term in GE at West Coast. You need to apply for scholarships the school will not automatically give you one. I hope this is helpful :)
Very informative and useful. Thank you for making this video
Is their nursing program regionally accredited?
Hi Krizia,
I checked with the school admission office and they said there is no ABSN program. Do you think they just recently take the program off?
Hey! Technically it isn’t an ABSN program like others that take 12 months. But I still consider it accelerated due to each term being 10 weeks. This was my second BSN and this took me a little over 2 years to complete!
@@nurse_krizia Thank you for the information. I always watch your videos. I am trying to apply nursing program at WCU and hopefully I will get into it.
@@lifestylewithrose hi, were you able to get in?
@@booyou8416 I got into a different nursing school.
@@lifestylewithrose Could you please share where’d you get in? I’m having difficulty finding a program. Thanks in advance!
Do you get a laptop
Which campus did you go to?
She said LA
What teas score do you need to get accepted
75%
The Ontario campus only requires a score of 58% however, acceptance is point-based.
Do you think it’s possible to have a part time job going to this school?
Yes it’s possible with good time management and knowing how to prioritize. It also helps if your job is very flexible with scheduling due to sudden changes that can happen with your schedule
Is the books online ?
Nurse Bonnie you purchase online PDFs which are cheaper or buy the physical version as new or used from students!
HI Krizia, thanks for the short but very detailed info. Does WCU offer any course to help students with State Board Test? Thank you :)
Hey Jennie, they do have a green light program that is set up to help you with NCLEX. It’s optional but it helps. It helped me stay organized in studying what material. Everyone so different on learning. It’s part of ATI.
Was the test to get in hard? What subjects did it cover?
They take the SAT
Math, Grammar, English
Thank you for this informative video, I’ve been back and forth about applying here and other rn programs at Cc. I have all my gen Ed as well but competition is so crazy here in LA :( I hope I get in somewhere this year!! 🥲
Yes! Getting into ADN programs now are very very competitive, which is why a lot of students who end up going to WCU is their last resort.
Does it matter where you get your BSN from?
NO
YOUR EMPLOYER DOESNT CAREEEE
ALL THAT MATTERS IS THAT YOUR NAME COMES UP ON THE BRN WHEN THEY LOOK YOU UP LOL
Girl, you’re gonna regret spending that much. You could’ve gotten your fnp for that price.
Did you have to get a co-signer for your loan?
Yes I needed a co-signer for my private loans. Once I graduated and got a job, I refinanced my loans and didn’t need a cosigner
