      The Scrubs Life omg we need you guys! Unfortunately due to covid they aren’t allowing volunteers in the hospital. It’s definitely a great program as you get hands on experience!

    Hi krizia; I’m so delighted to find your channel, my daughter got accepted there in the fall, because of the corona virus we have no chance to visit the school , and I saw a lot of bad reviews for WC U it made me nervous.Please can you kindly let me know your point of view about the school Thank you so much and God bless you.

    I ALWAYS recommend nursing student work while in nursing school, ABSN is a little different since you legit have no time or if you're failing nursing school because of work. I worked as a CNA in a nursing home and PCT in the emergency department while in nursing school and it helped me learn so much that it helped me in school and I'm a better nurse because of it.

      Hello,I always see you giving out good advice and so I would like to ask you a question.I was given an option to choose between the 4years bsn track or the asn track and I'm choosing the asn track.Im taking into account my financial situation and I plan on doing my bsn online after working for sometime as a rn.Do you advice against it?

    • @mirandaalexis
      @mirandaalexis 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@justinfrancis4621 that’s probably the cheapest cost effective way to go, and you can actually learn how to take care of patients in your asn versus the straight bsn where you don’t learn how to take care of patients the best

    Hey, girl thanks for this video. Can you make a video on how you decide and became a PCA and more details of how to get a job like that during nursing school. I have no experience and I am in nursing school. Its been a bit tough for me since I have 3 kids and all people in my support circle work the days I dont go to school or clinicals and I dont just want to leave my kids with anyone to care for them. The PCA position sounds good for me to try especially per diem.

    Love your videos, Krizia! How come you opted out of the Oxford Honors Program?

      Hi! Thank you! I didn’t opt out, we were supposed to go summer of 2020 but because of covid it got cancelled ):

      @@nurse_krizia Thanks for responding so quickly! I appreciate that! Could there be a possibility that you could still study abroad with Oxford even though you already graduated from WCU?

      @@raymonddimla6648 unfortunately, no. We did bring it up to the higher ups in the program and talked about going as chaperones but I don’t think it would happen. Especially since some of us are working now!

    Thank you so much for recording these videos about WCU! 🙂 I'm looking at starting at WCU in Aug or Nov (we will see with the virus going on) so any videos on the school are helpful! :) I was wondering if you think it's possible to work part time during the non-nursing courses before starting the actual nursing core (with sciences needed, etc., I have a prior BS degree but I'm still missing a few classes).
    Aslo, how hard is the HESI exam!? I've been studying for it, but I'm nervous that it is going to be really hard. I've just been reviewing the book they mentioned in the information session, I'm hoping it it is pretty similar to the actual test. Any thoughts on the test or tips?
    Thanks 😊💕

      Hi! I start in June and I just took my HESI exam last week and it was very very close to the book that they mentioned! I recommend trying to look for more vocabulary words online though because some of the vocab words were not in the book. I paid for this online course called boostprep and it REALLY helped me alot because they had timed practice tests and the actual test was really similar to it!

      @@juhohwee Oh thats good to know! :) I have been using that book and another HESI book to review too. How long did you study for before taking the exam? I will definitely check out boostprep, thanks girl! Good luck on your nursing journey. :)

      @@nurse_krizia great can you please guide me … should I go ADN or BSN … which is cheap and best short cut for nursing … community college has long waiting list … I am from California

    • @nurse_krizia
      @nurse_krizia  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@luckylondon8291 it depends on your goals! There are pros and cons to an ADN or BSN degree. If you’re thinking of the fastest way to get your degree, BSN at west coast is the fastest way but is expensive. I have heard they are not enrolling until next year because they’re getting full. Getting into an ADN will take longer and but you can also do a dual program where you take an ADN and BSN online at another school. This way is more cheaper but will be a little longer. Definitely look into your options and check out other schools.

      @@nurse_krizia thx for ur quick response… so BSN at WCU is how long and how much cost … why they stopped online program ? Community college waitlist is very long

    • @nurse_krizia
      @nurse_krizia  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@luckylondon8291 it depends if you have credits to transfer over. If not, it takes 36 months and can cost 140k. They never had an online only program for BSN, unless you’re doing RN to BSN.
