Great video! TIP: If you're using an MSI mobo (upwards of Z270 I think), the mobo has a JCORSAIR1 header which eliminates the need to plug-in the Lighting Node PRO, thus eliminating that extra SATA connection. I run six of these lovely fans right off the Lighting HUB connected to the JCORSAIR1 header.

But the 3-pin cable you show in the video accomplishing this task did not come with my kit so I did not know how to link the two! Glad I came across this video. I was debating buying the commander pro thingy to make things easier, but this video informed me the 3 pack fans come with that splitter and RGB thing which is basically what the commander is anyway. Only thing I miss out on is temp sensors and the USB plugs.
    Pretty much saved me £60.

Well great. I just went to my local Best Buy and purchased a single LL120 fan thinking that I do not need anything else like the node pro. Is there any place that I can just buy the node pro and not the 3 pack? I am too broke.

You can't buy the Lighting Node Pro separately, as that comes with their 2-packs and 3-packs of their fans, as well as their LED strips. The alternative is to buy the Commander Pro, which is only a little cheaper than buying a 3-pack.
The Commander Pro has inputs for; Two RGB LED channels (like the Lighting Node Pro), two USB 2.0 headers, 4 thermistors for temperature sensors, and 6 PWM fans.
I can only imagine how much it must suck to find that out, and although this comment is a bit late, I hope it helps.

If I had the Hydro Series™ H150i PRO RGB 360mm Liquid CPU Cooler in addition would I plug that into the LED channel 2 with a second fan hub provided with the 3 fan set to run all 9 fans? Or should I buy the commander pro?

How do you have the fans RGB facing into the case?, doesn't that make them pull the air from the inside of the case to the outside? If not, how did you get the fans to pull air into the case facing that direction?.

He put the fans on a water cooling radiator so yes in that case they are blowing out

FunnyInternetMeme he said at the beginning of the video it was for demonstration purposes only just to show lighting and not how to manage cooling

Most fans have arrows on the sides showing the air flow. Just look at that to setup your airflow.

From my research....no. I had the same issue, didnt know if you wanted 15$ fans you must spend 150$

Im such a idiot.. I only installed the kit for the fans itself but not the lighting node since i thought that would only be necesary when u have led strips..

IMHO the lighting node pro and splitter should be integrated with additional splitters (if needed) Daisy chained. It's easy to max out at 6: 3 360 rad, 2 top and 1 exhaust.
