@LR975mj the algorithm doesn't bring people out of their way. I follow taycan, I've driven taycan. Taycan it's in my car target group. But truth is truth. Probably you are the one that spended some time here to spread some poison.
@@marpan4739it’s way better than a Tesla. I driven both several times. Tesla is cheap plastic. And handles like a boat. Only has straight line speed

The next time you review a Porsche I suggest you spend less time telling us about the second row, which we know is too small and cramped for the most part.
Instead, tell us about the driver’s and the passenger’s front seat positions: tell me about their comfort levels, the materials selected, the mechanisms/modes on the front door, and the size, shape, and functionality of the Porsche’s software platform (UI) which the driver interacts with as s/he drives the Taycan into and out of various driving conditions. How easily can the driver interact with the screens/monitors as she drives w/o having to take his eyes off the road unnecessarily?

I have a 2020 4S and agree it is fantastic- by far the best I have ever owned and I have owned 17 Porsches and a 56 Packard 400. Thanks for a very thorough review! When you do your charge test can you please find out if charging is limited to 200kw on a 400v machine even if that charger puts out more than 200kw like the original Taycan. Thanks!

I think the only good thing about this car is the fact, it has at least 1 gear change and the fact it does not use single pedal driving. There are arguments out there that single pedal driving is no better for efficient driving.
😀 but if you once start using OPD you don't want a car without it. At least they should let the driver choose.
@@ItsOnlyElectric Agreed! A choice in the car that allows you to permanently turn this off must be present. I've driven an OPD vehicle, I can see its pros and cons but for me it just gets in the way. To me it's a bit like cup holders in cars. People rave about them and insist they are a must but also personally they are overhyped conveniences . To not buy a car because it has crap or no cup holders but everything else is perfect is just silly. The same applies to door storage for water bottles. Plastic bottles should be banned and not encouraged.

It's a great car especially after the facelift. Missing proper Regen and the price is a bit of a showstopper 😂

Two notes. Almost 5 meter car and it looks small.... Quality interior....if you compare this with the G9 I think the G9 looks well above in terms of materials ( I know these are different cars but I am comparing the quality of the interior materials).
Interior quality of the Porsche is not in level with the price and yes the G9 has an interior at the same level or maybe above in some aspects.

It's a cool car and I miss it.
Not sure it's better looking...more like "latest model looking" which means many will want it for the new car flex! I think the older recessed headlights add a bit of character in these days of flush-fitting everything!

This is sad, i want to love this car but they didn’t think of the self charging phone station like the tesla, the storage for purses and kids snacks in the front, I can tell a man designed this car because it’s swimming in useless gagets no one want. The whole point of an electric car is that it’s QUIET! I can’t buy this even if it goes on sale for 1/2 off.
It doesn't have practicality in top of mind. More focus on driving and design language.

2 tonnes. 😂😂😂😂 This is terrible. Weight is a killer for any EV. The performance metrics per KG are going to be bad. Also the cost. What the hell.

And yet, it's the fastest production 4 door car on Nürburgring. Less than 7 seconds slower than $2.000.000 Nevera, and almost 20 seconds faster than Tesla S.
