I've been following Joy of Baking for many years and she never let me down when I used her recipes exactly how she calls them. I had many happy holidays because of Joy of Baking. Thank you so much!!!!
Hi, I am a Guatemalan chef and it is funny to see this video with such sophistication on dark chocolate since they are common street food in my country. They are called "chocobananos" and they are an affordable and all year round common street dessert enjoyed by everyone. Different from your recipe, they are usually coated with rich dense milk chocolate and we tend to prefer very ripe bananas to make them. Also it is very common to freeze the whole fruit and top it with peanut chunks. Thanks.
These are amazing and I did it with white chocolate also and it was so good I also put sprinkles and they lasted so long in the freezer thanks solo much for this idea
I m so thankful to u that words r less to describe....I made chiffon cake ...it turned out amazing....I never thought I will do such good baking...,all thanks to u....love u....u r best👍🙏😘
I usually buy my chocolate from a website called chocosphere. I use quite a few different brands - Guittard, Lindt, Valrhona, Newman's Own, and Green & Black's.
Thanks for this video, monday it is my son's birthday and it's a perfect treat for school. Gonna make them tommorow and put it in the freezer til monday morning, less stress i hope. Greets from Holland
I made this today. It was quite hard to put the chocolate on banana, and it ended up being quite a mess. But it tasted lovely, and my Brothers liked it very much. :)
Hi Stephanie! Been watching your videos for over a year! I wanted to ask you whether you had any other channels. If you do, would you mine telling. And secondly, would you consider making savoury cooking videos in the future? Just a suggestion. Thanks for your effort Stephanie:)
I love bananas! And this sounds like a great recipe! I was just wondering if they are better than store bought??... Because I've tried store bought and the banana had a frozen pasty taste. Thanks for all the great ideas!!
And depending of the kind of oil you use (and it's a tiny amount anyway), canola oil for example, is a healthy kind. If you use darker chocolate, it contains lots of antioxidants, which are very good for you. So yeah, it's a pretty healthy snack. The key is moderation.
Hi, are you using normal chocolate which we usually have.Or it is hard one. As Lindit chocolate i eat like that only.Is the chocolate you are using specially for baking purpose?
Can you use liquid chocolate or chocolate sauce in a bottle bought in a store? I wanna open a cart and sell these but warming up chocolate on the spot seems tricky.

Will it turn out OK if you don't use the oil? I want a thick coating of chocolate :)
Can you use liquid chocolate or chocolate sauce in a bottle bought in a store?

How come when i melt my chocolate it doesn't have that kind of liquid consistency ?
Am i doing something wrong? do i need to add more oil? Thank you
I think I may make these and get some peanut butter chips to dip the banana's in, let them harden and then dip them again in milk chocolate. Yep.
