    Great video man. We need to talk to Jason (LB dev) about implementing more comic centric tools. It seems like a match made in heaven retro games and comics.

    I now have Marvel Unlimited linked to Launchbox. Thank you so much................. Looks much better than the Marvel Unlimited interface.

    wow this is best Launch Box tutorial, I have not only learn how to import comics but bunch of other things I didn't know you can do in launch box. In general I think you are really good with tutorials clear and straight to the point. I've subscribed just because of high quality of this tutorial. I hope you do way more Launch Box tutorials in the future, you are really good at it.

    Outstanding, I'm late to the party but this video is amazing. However, I have over 100,000 digital comics and this process would take forever to do for my collection

      Certainly. I have a lot of knowledge to share, wish I had more time to make videos. I have learned so much from others who had time to publish.

    This is great I didn't know you could do this. I hope you really go through every category because I really struggle with emulation and everyone always just does a brief tutorial and make you figure everything out for yourself and it so frustrating. Please go through every category 1 by 1 on how you set it up for bezels and controllers. I would definitely appreciate it so much.

      I'm starting with high level items right now, controllers and bigger activities, then I'll work my way through artwork and shaders and per core configurations.

    This looks awesome! Is there a way to get the template you used to make the custom art wheel?

      Yes, the link is in the description of the video. Please show it off if you use it. I've never seen anyone do it and it took me months to do, and if you can clean any up better, I'll send you the sources I worked with. You can email me at jasen@integrumretro.com

    What I’d like to know is do you have the comics organized by series first or by title? As in, let’s say, the Punisher and playlists for everything around the Punisher under that category, or is it more like here’s a category for Marvel, DC, Image, so forth, and then each playlist is all the stories under those banners like DC having Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Booster Gold, etc.?
    I have so many questions about this because I’m trying to build up a comics/graphic novel collection (and manga; books and light novels have their own camp, but I’m working on it) and I’ve been doing it like this: Blue Beetle category > Playlists for 1940 Blue Beetle, 1986 Blue Beetle, 2005 BB, New 52 BB and Rebirth BB. I want to start collecting for bigger titles like Batman and Superman, and collecting for events like Infinite Crisis, Maximum Carnage, Dark Nights: Metal (and Death Metal), and Marvel vs. DC (since I also collected the entire Amalgam line) so figuring out how to classify those would be super helpful.

    • @IntegrumRetro
      @IntegrumRetro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I have it set as a "Platform Category" for comics, then "Platform" for each title series.. ex Punisher, Wolverine, X-Men, then a "Playlist" for each series ex. Punisher Mini Series, Punisher War Journal, Punisher v1, v2. Ect.

    Before extracting covers, I had to manually remove the extra "retromag" jpg that was interfering with the layout of the entire magazine. However, Comicbelt utility still isn't extracting covers, but I'm not sure why. Any guesses to what I might be doing wrong? Also, can you mentioned how to eliminate the PLAY option and other side items in Bigbox when viewing magazines. Can you further explain how to do that so the comicbooks immediately open for viewing? Thanks for your help!

      @IntegrumRetro  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      When in the BigBox settings, just remove the additional options setting. This will make it so when you are in the wheel, clicking on the game will immediately launch it, or in my case, open the comic book. It applies that to every wheel though, which isn't the desired outcome on my 16TB drive where I have games on it too.

    Thank you for sharing - this is very helpful! Your tutorial worked great - now if I could only browse through my collection with my game pad controller as I do with the games. Any chance you can share how to configure that? Thanks if you can help :)

    Anyway you can make some Marvel VS DC logos for the different series?

    • @IntegrumRetro
      @IntegrumRetro  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I am terrible at photoshop. I spent months trying to extract the logos from existing covers. I'm sure they have AI tools that can do all that now pretty easily.
