It's hard to even fathom how brilliant this band is. They make me feel the kinds of things I felt as a kid, when I first fell in love with music. I hope they blow up worldwide.
"Crawler" shows a new level on the band's maturity. "When The Lights Come On" is one of its darkest songs, very Joy Division vibe, very post punk. Great.
I'm so happy to listen to something new that is not solid shit. Thanks mates. My bad, there's alot of good music out there but I'm a bit older so have a different set of what I can dig into and this is up there.
The Tapping of the feet seem loud, there’s a girl in a whirlwind cloud I danced with a Spaniard man, til we had no breath left in our pounding chests I shudder like I’m all bereft, I danced grief from my pores The beat pounds like a knocking at the door The hi-hats dance like a feather I’m in, I’m in a paralytic loveless dream Not a single face I’ve seen is a friend I recognise or recognises me I blackout, I don’t want your dim sum It’s 3am I wanna dance til the sun comes I wanna fight your cousin I wanna tear through the night like an angel flare I’m a ten-foot snare That cuts in the sky with no care, no care, no care, no A narcissist on a cucking stool The kids are not alright The kids are not all Feels like I’m coming home x 2 A narcissist a cucking stool The kids are not alright The kids are not
Cheers to another daily dose of Idles. I've lost a dear friend this week due to addiction and our most intimate times were spent driving around playing one another bands we loved. She became so fond of idles and would drop what she was doing just to listen any new material you gentlemen put out. Thank you guys for being a part of so many good memories.
This is the first time I've heard this song, I like it, it inspires me for the dark story I'm writing. Greetings from Miramar, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Yeah a dam near perfect track, to be able sing with beautiful pitch and tone build it and send it into the anger and rage is just fucking outstanding. what you do as a band is a rare gift. Executed so fucking well I think the reach this album gives is groundbreaking it's a a piece of music a serious fucking amazing piece of music
Holy shit yes this is easily one of my top tracks off the album! That part in verse 2 that starts with “i black out…” gives me goosebumps every time Please do another US tour soon i need that ENERGY!! 🙏🏼
amen man. the first time i heard “i don’t want your dim sum” made me laugh a little, but now i literally shiver when i hear that part of the verse. Im in recovery myself and this song sends me right back to those darkest hours
@@IrespectUtoo I honestly am not. Angles and picking the extreme best pic you can find out of thousands of ugly ones lol. But we all want to put our best foot forward. Thanks anyway :) you made me smile regardless. Hope you have an awesome evening! 😊
Imagine sleeping in the middle of the night in your cozy home in the UK and Joe shines his huge torchlight across your bedroom while filming a half naked man dancing in the street.
I am Brazilian and currently my country is under the rule of a very clumsy fascist, but still a fascist. The Idles are helping me survive the obscurantism and the rise of the reactionaries. Thanks. I love you guys.
So proud of you guys! The sparklers / bike bit at the end is excellent! And way to keep it in the fam. Cheers to George Garratt for the perfect antics. AIL! DGG!
So much power in this song and video! You guys never cease to amaze. As an aside, my two year old niece loves The New Sensation. She dances to it almost as hard as she does The Linda Lindas. 🙂
An album that couldn't have come out at such a needed time lyrically and sonically in my life. Thank you guys for churning up some damn good tunes, much love. - A Fella From Texas
In a parallel universe, Britpop never ruined everything, and indie's still as it was meant to be. It's the late 90s and yet another great label emerges. It's called Partisan Records and, with a band like Idles, you may believe it's about to be as good as Factory or 4AD
It's good to see The Ministry of Silly Walks is still up and running. And here's one salary man returning after one long day at work. Also, the budget Mad Max movie looks amazing. On a serious note, I adore this song to pieces. I've been shoving this album on everyone I know in a, "Yeah, that's great and everything but have your heard the new Idles' album. No? Ohhhhhhh, you're in for a treat."
Please come back to Nashville. Please! Your live show is the best musical performance I've ever seen. I really feel like I'm witnessing something special watching your band.
This song makes me want to take my clothes off, wrap myself in Christmas lights and jump around my living room with the windows wide open so my neighbors can see me.
Yes my favourite track by any-F-one right now, so I had to post. I can tell that a hell of a lot of effort went into this track. You've got a great dance groove, dark gothic atmosphere, narcoexperiential lyrics, superior Fall-esque vocals, chilling guitar production..I could just go on. Ticks so many boxes and it seems I'm not the only one...
I love you guys. I came onto you guys during the pandemic and have needed you without knowing you existed. Now it feels like I'll never let you go. LOVE YOURSELF!
“When The Lights Come On” from our new album “CRAWLER” out now on Partisan Records. Listen/buy: IDLES.LNK.TO/CRAWLER
Will you please, PLEASE consider Vegas next tour? You are all on my bucket list. Tyia ❤

Over here from Superman and Lois. Such a good scene with this song
lol same
Mee too is a great Fight 👍🏻💪
Shit, me too 😂.
Same, that scene kicked ass lol
Same. Badass af
Clark Kent kicked Luthor’s ass to this song. It was epic 🎉
Superman and Lex Luthor, throwing hands under the red lights and the thunderstorm rain. Pure cinema
Best part is that they're not even in their super-suits. Been loving this final season.
It's hard to even fathom how brilliant this band is. They make me feel the kinds of things I felt as a kid, when I first fell in love with music. I hope they blow up worldwide.
They've been in the process of doing so for the last few years.
I love this band
Amen
Long live idles🤔💯 Natasha hypolite xxx
What kind of music gave you that feeling as a kid ? I’m curious become I feel the same thing as your speaking of
"Crawler" shows a new level on the band's maturity. "When The Lights Come On" is one of its darkest songs, very Joy Division vibe, very post punk. Great.
Bro, think the same too, it’s a new level, amazing, pure energy and existing!! Now, Can’t wait the live concert in Milan city
My favourite idles song.
They had a lot depth in their catalog before Crawler. Crawler puts them at the next level.
nice 👌
(Sorry had to, you'll get it if you get it lol)
One of my fav songs that they have made
I'm so happy to listen to something new that is not solid shit. Thanks mates. My bad, there's alot of good music out there but I'm a bit older so have a different set of what I can dig into and this is up there.
Me watching Superman absolutely beat Lex Luthor’s ass in the streets of Smallville to this song
🍷🗿
Supes beat up Luthor under red sunlight and with a bad heart, that was insane.
@@Future_Vantasthat was crazy
This band just keeps proving to us all that they don't have a box to be put in.
You're going to end me? Try doing it wtihout powers!
If you recognize the band after 3 seconds in the song, you know they are awesomee and that you're a fan

I blackout,
I don’t want your dim sum
It’s 3am I wanna dance til the sun comes
I wanna fight your cousin
I wanna tear through the night like an angel flare
I’m a ten-foot snare
That cuts in the sky with no care, no care, no care, no
A narcissist on a cucking stool
The kids are not alright
The kids are not all
Feels like I’m coming home x 2
A narcissist a cucking stool
The kids are not alright
The kids are not
God when i first heard this song i was in tranced by it. I usually stick to country and R&B but fuck this song is amazing.
LUTHOOOR
I'm on a mission to turn everyone I meet on to Idles. ❤❤❤❤
Do it. Of all the bands I've discovered in recent years, IDLES are definitely my favourite.
Buddy of mine at work told me about Idles this morning. I'm so glad he did, this album is phenomenal!
I joined you.
How the fuck does every song sound completely different from the last, yet still unmistakably Idles? Exquisite.
I can see Ian Curtis dancing to this 👏👏
That's why I love this song , saw them in MCR on Sunday what a gig
Cheers to another daily dose of Idles. I've lost a dear friend this week due to addiction and our most intimate times were spent driving around playing one another bands we loved. How ia the line "I black out; I don't want your dim sum" so random and yet so perfect?
The drums in this song are fucking sick
They’re pretty

I've rarely find bands I'm so immediately infatuated with the sound of as I am with yours. It makes this life feel a little less lonely. Thank you.
I was late to the Idles party but now I dance to the sun comes up with splintered shins.
You are so beautiful

Clark Kent vs. Lex Luthor on Superman & Lois brought me here.
One of the best songs I ever heard
This band hits me at my core....
They are wild and delicate at the same time. A band with something to say. Intense
I love to blast it in a car when I am in solo road trip mood. Extraordinary song.
So dark, so loud, so angry.F..ing hell, i die for this song!Cheers IDLES and big hugs from Berlin
everyday my dose of IDLES since two years now every fuckin day so far and going............☠
Spent nearly every night returning home like that in the 90,s .50 years young now.idles are a special band.
So hard to believe that it's been that long since our youth isn't it?
What a beautiful dark and haunting track. Thank you Idles.
idles don't miss. facts
Imagine sleeping in the middle of the night in your cozy home in the UK and Joe shines his huge torchlight across your bedroom while filming a half naked man dancing in the street.
That dance my guy does in the video, that’s legit the same moves I pulled when I first heard this track. Such a vibe.
I am Brazilian and currently my country is under the rule of a very clumsy fascist, but still a fascist. The Idles are helping me survive the obscurantism and the rise of the reactionaries. Thanks. I love you guys.

Got Batman vibes when Clark was screaming. Dude was terrifying there.
this reminds me so much of your first ep, has a nice indie/post-punk feel. BEST SONG OFF THE ALBUM!!!
One of my favourite songs on the new album. This video is perfect. 🔦
So much power in this song and video! You guys never cease to amaze.

I am obsessed with this song -- it is close to perfection. The video is pure art.
This song is so odd as music, lyrics and video
Reminds me of some weird empty dreams I had when I was a child

I headbang the hardest to this song on the album.
Music is how I decompress in this absurd world. And, Idles music is my Xanax.

Best track on the album ft the best of Bristol…George fukin Garret!!! Go on m8! 🤠
Utterly brilliant song and band and I've heard a few at 62hrs old
Yes. This anthem may heal this country. Let’s dance everyone.
Best song of 2021, not even close.
IDLE's are a brilliant band and one day when my body lets me go anywhere again I wanna go see em ! Favourite video is "Never fight a man with a perm"
one of the best rock'n'roll group . This album is simply excellent . It will be difficult to make better at next .

Awesome track and Mr. George Garratt with the amazing dance moves!!!
I have been into alternative music for decades, but this band has set a new bar into this genre. Absolutely amazing ❤

Shut your bloody windows! You do this way too frequently!

Everything they do is great. The only band I would travel out if the country to see
Hoping they make a great concert with all the people sing along to this song, so Goddamn cool
They remind me of that time of my life and how good it was. They also remind me of the mistakes and how bad it could be. True tune.
My heart was somehow beating outside my chest after this track. Love from Sweden!
OMG, love it. Pixies 2022 on something else, they’re amazing, sheer brilliance.
THE most important band on the planet. Regardless of that though the only band I’ve really got into for the last 20 years. Immense.
This is only the second song I've heard from these guys and I'm impressed.
Did anyone else come here after seeing them on the Cave?
It will be released on my birthday, thanks IDLES
