Hey! That small picture in picture you did to show the size difference between the tv's was excellent! Would be great to have you use that when people are wondering about 75, 85, or the 100" options. Really good frame of reference.

Hello Brian and Jen. Thanks for the great video. I just got my 77 inch A95L and used your video to guide me on unboxing and setup. I too noticed that the screws on one of the feet seemed like they didn’t screw in all the way but it didn’t matter since I wall mounted it. Also, my screen was pristine. No scuffs, scratches or stains. It’s perfect! Just thought I’d let you and your followers know. I’m super happy with this tv. Thanks again, S.

Fast forward to Dec 2024 and Sony are still not shipping their A95L’s with a full screen plastic peel or a cardboard layer between the foam and polystyrene like what they do with the Bravia 9.
The thin layer of foam is loosely attached to the screen and sandwiched between the polystyrene inserts. During transit the polystyrene rubs against the foam which then rubs off the coating particularly in the two top corners.
My two European A95Ls manufactured 8/2024 and 12/2024 both arrived scuffed. I asked the store to deliver the replacement upright and not flat like the previous one but it still arrived with marks.
However I have seen a few North American A95’s shipping with a couple of inches of tape/plastic on the top and bottom of the display where the polystyrene comes into contact with the display.

4:24 Where you talk about the "film" around the edges of the screen. I'm on my 2nd panel with this problem and it seems like it's how the styrofoam packaging is pushing the wrap into the screen. The center of the panel doesn't have this. Were you able to get it off? Does it impact your viewing? Seems like an annoying problem for this price when the likely answer is use a better screen protector peel from the start.

I’m thinking about getting that TV in the 77”, because I’m 12 ft away from the set. But, I don’t want to mount it. Can you install the feet closer together? And what is the distance?

I use cinema. Also remember there are brightness settings... professional starts with luminance "off" and should be at high. Cinema, high luminance, motion smoothness at 1, clearness min.. you can add live color if desired I think it looks great and definitely all the Ambient and power savings off

A90J vs A95L. How much brighter and better does the A95L compare to A90J ? Is it worth the extra cost vs extra quality? Thanks

Ive had my a90k for 2 years now and its been excellent no image retention or any issues. not sure what the true lifespan is but hoping to get at least 7-8 years out of this tv. But well see i guess. Sounds like you have to drive these oleds super hard for continuious hours everyday for them to burn in or have image retention i guess well see how its held up after 5 years but the picture and sound is awesome

    *NO 3D FRAME PACKING*
The 65" Sony A90J Master Series OLED TV is the best TV I've ever owned in my entire life, and it is the last TV that I'll ever buy because *'MASTER SERIES'* TV's do not support 3D-BLU-RAY. So this year I spent $6k on the AWOL LTV-3500 PRO and VIVIDSTORM S PRO bundle deal and it is far better than 3D IMAX!

Lovely review and I hope you love it as I think you will. But it’s just too darn expensive. I’m limited to 55” and at £2999 UK as opposed to LG’s G3 at £1700, it’s a no brainer for me. It’s a shame but is it really over £1000 better than a G3? I’m afraid it isn’t. And Samsung’s dogmatic approach refusing to have Dolby Vision disqualifies it from my consideration, despite DV’s issues.
    Keep ‘em coming though.

Do you change tvs like women do with purses that frequently?!? I didn’t think this tv was worth double the price of the 77” A80L and I seen both side by side. I landed on the 77” A80L personally and have the same full A7000 setup as well.
