I also missed both the top bolts holes were slotted. Taking the bolt out on top drivers side was a pain. But mount slide out. I drained radiator. Removed drivers side hose.
I had the engine cover (behind seats) out today. I noticed the top 2 bolts of the motor mount are visible and there is some access to them. Not sure how usefull it would be, but there is some access from up top.
@@ARPerez thank you for the response. I don't own a press so I'll try that. I really don't want to spend $200 on a press from Harbor Freight. I'm already on the hook for a coolant fill since I couldn't get the mount out with the coolant hoses in place. Worst case, I'll gently use a hacksaw and cut the pressed-in sleeve to allow it so slip out.
Arun, I wasn’t able to get it out even using wd-40. I used a hacksaw to remove the pressed in sleeve without damaging the surrounding aluminum, other than a few scratches.
Great job. In the middle of doing this and didn't pay attention to the mount bushing orientation. This helped me out. Thanks.
Glad it helped you!
Great video! Thanks for the information. I didn't think it could be done without removing the hoses. Well done!
It was challenging but def. doable with enough time and patience. Thanks for the support! Please don't forget to sub if you like the content :)

Yeah sometimes it's easier to just drain the coolant, probably saves you cramped hands!

That is definitely good advice! Thanks for the tip!
Did you leave that 5th torques bolt out when re installing?
nice vid man, what a pain in the ass to get 2 of those bolts loose
How was your driving experience after installing these upgrades? Any vibration? Recall anything else? Thanks!
Minimal NVH, it felt OEM+
@@ARPerez Thanks! Bought and installed. They do feel like OEM
What’s the part numbers of mount and bushing you are using? Thanks
They dont have a part number I could find, but the PRG website is in the description
How did you press out the old mount before you installed the PRG insert?
It was a little tight but it slid out with a few taps of a mallet and wd-40, I got lucky

@@davidbrown3184 Were you able to press out the existing bushing without using a press? Any tips on how to do it?

They are pronounced chocks, not chokes. Rhymes with socks, not smokes.
I’ve been saying it wrong the whole time, thanks
Why be pedantic? If he wants to say chokes it’s up to him...great content brother.
