You can just take the bulbs out of the side lights (map lights) so that won't be a issue no more

You should just wire a single led rock light in the place of the dome light be pretty bright

I think some sound dampening and some acoustic foam would help with your dome light

DS18 GTX11 are my current tweeters and they are alright. They helped my setup alot but I also like dome silk I just needed something that could take a pounding too (physically). I may just run some domes back in somewhere too. Jeep life!

Just pull the bulbs out, you will still have the dome light when opening the door! You did say you didn’t really use it unless door open anyways!

I wouldn't consider the bass turning on a dome light to be your fault in any way. It's just one of those things that can happen to anybody.
A couple solutions might be to bypass the left and right switches on the light fixture so that all three lights are wired into the door switch. Then they will all turn on and off with the door switch.
I've got an 04 Navigator and it has a timed relay of some sort. It cuts all power to the interior lights after 30 minutes of inactivity. So I can leave the doors wide open and after 30 minutes all the lights will shut off. Whatever module they're using might be adaptable to your vehicle.

I have a HOOL-X15.4DHE that started making noise at higher volumes after they it started to break in. I can't see anything wrong with it physically. Besides, one of the spiders has excessive glue glue on it from the triple joint. I bought one from DS18 and the other from Big jeff Audio. I didn't know if it would be covered under warranty or what I would have to do. Any suggestions, Jerry? I tried to fill out the warranty stuff on the DS18 website, but when it asked for the serial number, it says it is a 12 digit number, but I can only find a 16 or 17 digit number.
