Try it with 3 sc in magic ring, then make it into 6 in round 2

Thank you for sharing this and such a great tutorial for beginners. I'm advanced but I like to do easy items in between to rest. I'll be making more of these in a thinner weight next time, but for fun I used aran, with a strand of mohair and it turned out beautiful. Large and cuddly.

i messed up making the body of the chicken. it's elongated like a mango, not like a ball. i wonder why 😭😭 im so sad
I made this little chick using the written pattern and the only thing I would change is I embroidered on the beak. Amazing pattern though ❤❤
Can u plsssssss post a tutorial on how to make this for ABSOLUTE beginners... I wanted to do this so badly but I didn’t find the correct video. And by beginner... I mean like....I haven’t even held a crochet hook before in my life. I did find a similar video in which they made a penguin but that person was also doing it in a very fast speed and I couldn’t understand a thing. Maybe you can help me, It would mean a lot to me🙂 I just checked and that video was yours only!

hello sujit Mohanty an idea if the video is going too fast for you you can slow down the video if you know how (press the three lines top right of video, then press captions and the slower speeds are the top three and the faster speeds the bottom three)

it might be difficult to start with 2 magic ring, you may try it with 3 sc in magic ring. then make it into 6 in round 2.

My mother had gotten me this little set to make these. I’ve been struggling for about five hours now, I had crocheted in the past but nothing serious. I can’t get past the first round 😅

Edit: I’ve been trying to figure this out for ten hours now. It’s past midnight and I’ve only gotten to round four before losing count. I’ve been restarting and whenever I do my magic loop it tightens the wrong way so it’s a 10% of me actually doing it right. But I’m gonna keep going 😓

@@phiesophy I figured out what I was doing wrong! I now have three of those little chicken guys (one in blue), a whale, a bear, and a rabbit. Oh and I made a little sweater for my bf’s art project. I enjoy crocheting now, I was just over complicating everything in the beginnin. I originally thought a single crochet (sc) meant two stitches when in reality two stitches would have been an increase (inc). I ended up writing out the pattern like this so I’d understand it-
3 sc, inc
Single, single, single, double (repeat)
Crocheting can be a bit tricky at first but it’s worth it! Oh and there’s many types of stitches, I just learn them as I go.

Guys, this pattern might not be suitable for beginners! You can find other patterns similar to this, but you can come back when you are better at crocheting!

The first thing I crochet was two years ago and I stared with crocheting squares and liter flower and hearts if you are crocheting for very first time u should try to crochet Square or flowers.🌺❤💟
About the eyes? I watched another one that had backing on the eyes when the body still had a hole in it. This doesn’t have any backings. What does one do to secure the backing? What’s stopping these eyes from falling out?

I didn't understand the instructions. I winded up making an increase in each hoop or whatever you call them 👁️👄👁️ is it only the last one on eavh round that get increased by 2 or something?

Hi, you can reduce the yarn size and the hook size i used a yarn 4 a 3mm hook and instead of using a 3mm hook, I used a 2.5mm hook, hope it help.
