Persona 5: Xander Mobus Talks About Playing the Protagonist!

- Xander talks about some of his recent work, what it’s like portraying the protagonist, his experience with Persona, and so much more in this Q&A video.
Persona 5 is a game about the internal and external conflicts of a group of troubled youth who live dual lives. They have the typically ordinary day-to-day of a Tokyo high-schooler - attending class, after school activities and part-time jobs. But they also undertake fantastical adventures by using otherworldly powers to enter the hearts of people. Their power comes from the Persona, the Jungian concept of the “self;” the game’s heroes realize that society forces people to wear masks to protect their inner vulnerabilities, and by literally ripping off their protective mask and confronting their inner selves do the heroes awaken their inner power, and use it to strive to help those in need. Ultimately, the group of Phantom Thieves seeks to change their day-to-day world to match their perception and see through the masks modern-day society wears.
Persona 5 will release on Feb. 14 in the Americas and Europe, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Pre-orders are now available at participating retailers for either version of the game.

Man his voice has so much range it’s unreal. His normal voice sounds nothing like the announcer or this protagonist guy
He kind of sounds like Pat Cashman when he was his age.
He also voiced the conductor from a hat in time, search him up and you’ll be blown away

Does he have any non-combat lines?
lostn65 He says them during cutscenes. But they're usually simple, so his personality is still up to you.
Does he fully read out the dialog choices? Or is it just a "yeah!" or "sure"? The latter doesn't count.

Persona Q was rated the same way, PEGI dosen't really care that much about suggestive content or bad language while ESRB does. PEGI mainly focuses on violence.
AscorbicGypsy Oh, so that's why. I knew about the suggestive content/violence difference between them but I thought they treated everything else about the same including bad language.
I wish PEGI did rating summarys like ESRB does, would make them more useful.
