I did this swap on my 16 custom Silverado & bought a good harness . However Puddle lights will not work on either side. The pins are lined up.

That modle should be plug and play all you need is to buy the Mirror with the auto folding

Hey bro so Blue and Yellow are for folding both folding mirrors correct and I can get ground by either chassis or the pins you mentioned.

If you go from dl8 to dl3, and just plug in the regular plug, will the basic mirror functions work? Tilt heat?

On tahoe its plug and play no need to run relays just get a master window switches for the fronts from a Dl3 vehicle.
But only folding the driverside twice it stopped working cause the plastic gear breaks. My passenger side didnt work when I got them but it's cool to have the signals. Turn your LS tahoe to have LTZ features.
My mirrors came off a 2010 sierra.
Hey Kenny, are you saying you had the control switches like in the video and just changed them out to the DL3 switch? I've got the DL3 switches for both sides ordered and am keeping my fingers crossed that this will be a plug and play project. If not I'll have to do it like the video instructs.

I have an 04 silverado with power folding mirrors and they were closed and some chick pulled one open🤦🏽♂️ something popped but idk if anything broke or what cause it still opens and closes but do you think it damaged it in any way? If i can please get a reply id appreciate it🙏🏽
I added puddle lights to my 04 Silverado LT, came off of 04 Tahoe plug and play. just ensure it has the long pig tail because there are some that come with the short one, I separated top from bottom on mine works like a champ. Recently replaced puddle light s with LED off of Amazon less than 20.00. good luck!
Longshot but I am having trouble getting the light to come on oh, I wired both orange with white and ran the cables into the white box to the light gray cable and another one just to the ground. What am I doing wrong?
