Visited last week (caught the snow!)... Will visit again this summer. One good thing about last week's visit: we ruled out Loveland (too small, too rural). 🙂

Regarding COL, the interesting thing I have noticed about living here is that the home prices do not reflect the job salaries here. We can comfortably afford to rent here, but if I had my same job in Fort Collins, I would make about 20% less than I currently do - which is insane.
What is amazing to me is the cost of Colorado Springs vs. Fort Collins. They’re about the same distance from Denver, but the springs is quite a bit cheaper in the suburbs. Is this strictly because of CSU or that it’s just more desirable?

The Springs has more sprawl and more development, so that keeps a downward pressure on prices as supply is greater.

Agreed on incomes in Fort Collins. They HAVE to increase IMO. C

Hey I’m 22 years old. No career pick yet, thinking about getting in firefighter but I don’t know. But I’m definitely thinking about moving to Fort Collings from Texas, wondering jf I can get a job there and a apartment. I have warehouse experience, but in the long term I’m interested in the Firefighter career.

That’s super exciting! It’d be pretty expensive but doable if you’re okay with roommates! Jobs are here and available but need to start paying more that’s for sure.

Super high prices relative to wages for little amenities. Blue state policies, expect lawlessness and newcomers and crime etc.... High taxes, poor schools, and an outlook not great for most folks as wages are driven to the bottom by newcomers

Ft Collins will eventually become a migrant sanctuary city just like Denver. No thanks.

      Fake News 😂

Funny thing about the whole "fake news" bit is Trump has admitted in an interview he doesn't actually believe the news is fake. He only says that because he disagrees with it. So it's hilarious when these people try to call everything fake news. They don't even understand it. It's like those stupid Biden did it stickers showed up everywhere blaming literally an entire world's problem on Biden as if he, just the US president controls every country's treasury and economics and has full control over every country's inflation control. It's mind boggling how they completely fail basic 5th grade economics.
North Dakota is considered to have high crime and our biggest city is a little smaller than FoCo.
I lived there for 5 years. Loved every minute of it. It's such a beautiful town. Great videos, I've been binge watching them.
