People create a new volume because C Drive should always be healthy. All your work and gaming should be done and kept in other drives. C drive is your desktop, it would be harmful for your laptop if the space gets filled in C drive.
If you want to expand a drive, the unallocated volume should be next to that drive. So in this case, to expand drive c, you have to make an unallocated volume next to it, which is by deleting drive d. After deleting drive d, you will have an unallocated volume next to drive c, only then you can expand drive c. If you shrink a volume from drive d, the unallocated volume will appear next to drive d, instead of next to drive c. So you can not expand drive c that way.

4:48 Extend Volume Option will be highlighted only when while Installing the OS you have not created any partition ( Which happen mostly in the case of SSDs which has low space eg.256GB, 512GB etc.So nobody or company create the partition while Installing the Operating System). If you have created any partition this option will be greyed out...then you have to use any 3rd party software.....

It's just a ripoff software that doesn't even do its job, requires a reboot and keeps asking for more money from you instead of doing the job. I highly recommend Minitool Partition Wizard however. Because you can only merge partition that was before created form the C Drive. The Partition that the guy in the video has merged was before created from the same C drive by divission of it.

The problem is that you can only extend your memory if there is adjacent free memory. For this reason, you need to delete that drive. To do otherwise you need to use software.
Hi. After doing what your video suggested, I am not getting any option to delete Drive D. Also, my screen shows 2 Disks (Disk 0 and Disk 1). Yours is showing Disk 0 only. @@IOAN2ER Apparently, the empty drive should lie next to the C drive. So, you can shuffle some of the data from the disk volume 1 to disk volume2. When enough space is created in disk volume 1, follow the process of the video. Don't use extra cheeky ideas.

If you want to extend your C Drive all you have to do is make sure the deleted space is next to your C drive that way it will extend.
And how do you make it be next to C

This one is not good as AOMEI Partition Assistant, AOMEI is really professional in this area.

@@andrewmcfarren2264 in my free space folder delete partition option is disabled and in C drive extend volume is disabled

yes. i only have 800Gb on my D: drive :) i cant do it bcs i only have 94 Gb free space on my 1TB ssd. i have 800 Gb of Games :/ and 5 Gb free on my C: where windows is installed. Rip
@LEBYT I have the same problem where I have like 1.something gb left on my c drive and like 600 gb left on my other hard drive where I save everything, idk what to do tho cause getting a new pc is expensive too
