      Hello My friend. Firstly, super video!! thank you for your expertise. I put my OS on a 1TB NVME drive. I allocated 50 GB for the OS, but windows would not recognise the other 877GB? i made it a simple volume.
      I have removed the 512MB and extended C: via your easy steps. Now i have 4.5 Gb free out of 53 GB.
      Now I have a D drive that I cannot make into unallocated space. It shows D: 877 GB NTFS Healthy (Page File, Basic Data Partition) But the problem is, its showing up as
      872GB free of 877GB and the drive is empty. so I can't delete the volume or even format it , as it says it's in use.
      Update. i have managed to turn of page file for D:

      @@str1xt Hi. thanks for letting us know.
      Lastly, you wrote, "update" and you managed to turn off the page file for D. It is to solve the problem, isn't it yet?
      If still there is an issue, please send us a screenshot to our fb messenger.

    For anyone visiting this and wondering how important that recovery partition is... Its used to reload Windows back to complete defaults as if it was a fresh install. I have the Windows disk to reload, so I am happy to just completely reinstall the operating system (in fact its probably better). But if you have an OEM license and the manufacturer did not supply a reinstallation disk, you might want to have a look into a partition manager.

      I want to know too, I actually found a page where it said it was not completely safe, and that it is safer to just move it at the end.
      I have not tried yet and am searching more info pls lemme know any updates
      quick update!
      I just tried installing aomei and moving the recovery partition at the end (in my case I had no files in D: so I just deleted it and made it unallocated) then I was able to merge the two partitions just fine.
      Idk what the recovery partition does but I though I'd rather leave it for security

    • @MuradiTutorial
      @MuradiTutorial  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi harsh soni.
      First, we delete the HRP when we need it to be deleted, but we do not have to delete it when we don't need to delete it as it is less than a GB amount of volume which is not a considerable amount of volume to be added to a drive.
      Secondly, there is not any harm to the computer. HRPs are created back themselves automatically when you revert back to the factory settings, for booting or anything else purposes. Sometimes, it will be also auto created after days of computer's frequent uses. No worries at all. Thanks for the visit and supports.

    Thank you do much Just upgraded by .250 SDD with a 2.0 TB SDD. I deleted the healthy recovery partition and was able to expand my "C" drive to take advantage of the extra space. Should I re-establish the Healthy Recovery Partition? it was 678MB with no files in it. Thanks again.

    HI Muradi, thanks for your help. In Disk Management I have three disks, 0, 1 and 2. The first is fully an SSD data drive, the second is fully a standard 2TB data hard drive while disk 2 is the three Healthys (the Recovery, EFI and the C: Drive) which are all partitioned from the SSD drive. There is nothing to the right of C: drive on disk 2 for me to extend it into. I know how to shrink off a section of disk 0, but then how do I move that unallocated partition to disk 2? Thanks again for your help.

    • @MuradiTutorial
      @MuradiTutorial  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your question. It means you have three physical hard disks which allow you to extend a drive partition on the same physical hard disk only. You can not move space from one physical hard disk to another. Hope it helped or you have any other question, please proceed. Thanks once again for the visits and supports

    • @MuradiTutorial

      100% safe. Please go ahead. Just remember you delete the right HRP which is usually of less than a GB

    • @MuradiTutorial
      @MuradiTutorial  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi I rexzilla.
Sometimes, it will be also auto created after days of the computer's frequent use. No worries at all. Thanks for the visit and supports.

    This good and for a PC I would not hesitate to do this, but I have a company server that I can't extend with the same scenario and really can't take a chance of moving everything and then creating a new Data drive and moving back. I'm no sure if I can risk on a server, but thanks for the video and I did learn a couple of things.

    • @MuradiTutorial
      @MuradiTutorial  ปีที่แล้ว

      Deleting HRP which should be less than a GB is harmless. It is more than a GB, that is not the partition recommended in this video No worries!

      Hi MUTAZ GV. Yes, it should say becuaes you don't have enough space in the drive you want to move all the files. You need to move some files to another drive, even C drive and some to the drive you want to move. Once you are done , you can move them back. It is also explained in the video.
