Did you even watch the video... Jeff didn't have a clue how the injector cleaning machine worked... Jeff was stuck in the early 2000s in terms of tuning and data acquisition up until just recently when they switched to Fueltech.... he still doesn't even tune his own stuff his son does... he may be a hell of a fabricator/driver. Doesn't mean he understands the first bit of how the electronics work.
@@lukelafave5300him not knowing how a cleaner works is 100% irrelevant to anything else lol. I guarantee you ask any racer in the pits and they will tell you Jeff is one of the smartest dudes out there. It’s not about smarts it’s about simple over looking the smallest things at that level will hurt you. 98% of the guys in npk don’t ask lutz for help all the time for no reason. But again at that level with everything that goes into them it’s super easy to over look the little things that guys like Brent and them wouldn’t because that’s what they do everyday. That and I’d imagine Jeff hasn’t had to worry about tuning in a long time because his son does all that.
I was told once that somebody who knows everything will learn nothing.

@nickwalston1322 simply put when it comes to jeff, Brent, and jamie...game recognize game. No matter how big you get, there will always be a smaller time guy with experience you may not. I've been a fan of Jeff since I first saw him on street outlaws, something about him just radiates humble and chill.

I am genuinely surprised he didn’t know what how it worked or what it even was. I mean has been running turbo/pro charged cars for how long.
It blows my mind that a big team wouldn’t have one in the trailer me being from the dirt oval world that would be like not having a spring smasher and shock dyno in the trailer (you damn near can’t even race a dirt latemodel competitively at a local level even anymore without a spring smasher in the trailer)

Jeff and his son and their crew have always been my favorite, yiu can tell they are very good people. Brent, you and Jamie are my favorite people. When Jeff Lutz brings his race car to you two, thats says everything about the skill and knowledge yall have. These two teams combined will be a force to be reckoned with, thats for sure!! I hope Lutz will be back in the picture again, both teams can learn from each other to create one, that will be the BEST!

Seeing you guys do some nerdy tech stuff with Lutz and his car is AWESOME!!! I absolutely LOVED seeing this! Its a shame that Lutz didn't meet you guys prior to the race so that you could of had him dialed. Oh well, that's neither here nor there at this point. What matters is you helped him sort things out. Hopefully he has some better luck at the next race. This whole little mini series was a HUGE "Fire me up"! Nothing but chills every video! Gotta say, this is one of those things that I can honestly say that I didn't know how much I needed it in my life. (LoL) Great job, Brent and Jamie! Lets go Team LUTZ!!!!!
PFI on Lutz ride is freakin sweet
Brent and Jamie, it is so awesome to watch you guys systematically troubleshoot these problems. I spent my whole carrier in the electronics field (air traffic control radar systems, medical systems and computer systems) as a technician. The last thirty years I have acted as a councilor troubleshooting people problems. I found that troubleshooting whether it be machines or people was very similar in process. I really. Relieve that great trouble shooter are born. Our brains are wired to a systematic approach to problem solving. You guys approach problem solving like all the great troubleshooters I have known. You need to thank God that He wired your brains to be great at what you do.
It has been great to watch how you guys have grown over the years I’ve watched you. Great things are ahead for you both. Love how you two work together.
I'm amazed how many gremlins end up being injector issues, I've seen you guys solve a bunch of mysteries with that injector tester over the years. I watch a bunch of automotive channels and I'm surprised this is the only channel that really uses the tester.

Thank you PFI! I don’t race or own a hot rod. I used to be a service technician though in an unrelated field. The reason why I never miss an episode is because you diagnose , then test, and replace only what is necessary to correct the issue or to prevent future issues. And you explain why you arrived at your conclusions. The thought process and the calmness you exhibit under pressure is always amazing! Thank you guys one and all for the priceless knowledge and entertainment that you impart with every single episode! 😎👍

What a cool customer! The guy pulls up in his race car, that’s cool enough to feature on television, and gets a tune like any kid in his Honda. No giant crew no television cameras, just troubleshooting with the boys. Super cool!

The big lesson to be learned here is that your never old enough to know everything. You can never know enough. Stay hungry for knowledge and make friends with knowledgeable people and learn from them. Ask questions. Ask why. Ask how something works. Always be open to new tech.

The more i watch pfi, the more i realized one of those injector clearers/tester machines a tool thats really needed when dealing with high power cars. One bad injector and the motors toast. Thank you for all the great information you share with the world.❤❤❤

Man, watching these 4 or 5 videos has been awesome! So happy to see y'all get this opportunity and show what you can do with the big dawgs. The Diversity with the struggles, a motor swap in a night, and gettin it right by next race. That's what racing is on the weeks you don't win! So cool.

Been flowing since the small shop, watched it grow, saw you all loose the old shop and have to move on, the ups and downs, the side to sides and through it all we still enjoy every second of video you put out at PFI speed, you always say how lucky you are to have these opportunities……. With the camera recording and just catching the small talk while checking the injectors, the info you guys discuss, is just amazing! Most guys edit that stuff out and it's f*ucking frustrating! I'm not a 4 cylinder guy by any means, but this is why I love Brent and Jamie. Their videos are top of the line in quality!! I know this car is by no means a 4 cylinder, but still their normal stuff is great!
Looks like Jeff switched from the plasma man intake that he had back to the old standby flattop. Also it may not be lean hot it could be fuel hot with enough timing and the right cam
