- We love Volvos. We love power. Unfortunately, those don't usually go hand in hand. But our buddy Jeff Allen remedied that, and then some - by fully chassis swapping a super clean Volvo Amazon body onto a Corvette Z06 chassis. We think we're in love. Actually, we know why are. We've got a feeling this thing is amazingly sketchy to drive.

well... not much LS's in the Amazon even in Sweden...
if V8's its usually Rover Alu V8's as they are road-legal in a lot of Volvo's like the Amazon, 140\160-series, 240 and 700 series.
though an 300bhp V8 2stroke Evinrude outboard engine in an Amazon, well... that also goes fine ^^ (not road legal but still...)

Yeah I kinda have to agree Bisimotos van has the crown of best soccer mom sleeper car, this is right up there though but this isn't nearly as subtle, this thing looks and sounds incredible.
Props to this guy for such originality, and workmanship.
I really don't care for Corvettes but I would drive this thing in a heartbeat.
Wow, this brought up a smile and great memories. A little over 30 years ago my father and I borrowed my grandfathers Amazon when practicing for my driving license. A little bit weaker engine though 🇸🇪

Love this! The Amazon is probably number 2 IMHO of most beautiful 3-box coupes (following the Alfa Giulia) ever designed.
This should be a hot wheels diecast car, I'd buy like a dozen of these.
My only gripe is no standard transmission..needs a 6 speed asap.

I owned a origanal 122S but sold it about 8 years ago. Swopped my dad for a gti golf. He did a complete origanal rebuild and restoration on car took him 6 years of sourcing spares from start to finish. Wish i can find one again

Wow. At a glance it's like, ya clean vintage Volvo. I can dig it. But, don't judge a book by its cover. This car is incredible! My opinion ,I have never seen anyone build one of these types of projects(like a body swap type) that's so perfect. My mind was blown with the details and perfection. If you didn't know it you'd think it was Factory. Just an awesome example of custom car culture.

That is one slick ride, Problem when everyone has 700hp high spec cars the people pushing there 250-300hp stock cars to the limit are having fun...driving a slow car fast is more than a fast car slow

Old cars had always a prettier shape for some reason to my eyes , for example this Volvo looks wonderful to this day , another example is the Chevrolet Corvette stingray 69 ...what not to love about those cars when it comes to looks firstly and they were also decent in performance . In a world that goes directly to the specs and numbers i say , look at this beauty man !!!! look at this masterpiece ! Made with love

Only one thing I did not like. Why use a volvo body, and then go for the corvette dash board? If you want it to be volvo on the top and corvette underneath, then use as much volvo as possible, for the visual parts.
