I have loved this woman (in a proper way) since I was 18 and though I'm now in my 70th year, I still do. Her grace and strength thru her trials could only be God given. One day she will sing with the angels and if that's not proof that heaven is a real place, I don't know what is. Fight on Judith, this world will be a poorer place without you.

It's personal you know, for each of us, a connection to each of these individuals, and their music, that seldom comes along in a lifetime. Recorded just three years after the loss of the love of her life, Ron Edgeworth. I have always imagined that she was singing this song directly to him. You can see it in her demeanor at the end. I think she felt his eternal arms wrap around her. As he said the day he met her, "What a dolly."

Of all the songs I have listened to recently by Judith Durham and The Seekers I think this is my personal favourite because it is so touchingly poignant and emotional. The soprano opera singer Maria Callas is widely regarded as the greatest diva of the 20th century. I say it is this lady JUDITH DURHAM!!!.

Aside from her stunningly beautiful voice Judith Durham has such a sublime talent for singing as to make me believe it must be god-given. Judith is the Michelangelo, Rembrandt or Mozart of singing & I can fully understand 85 year old Phil Corrin below saying he doesn’t cry much any more “except when I listen to this angelic voice”.
