Another one bites the dust, and another ones gone and another ones gone and another one bites the dust. Hey we're gonna get you too!
Nice.
Imagine how this news makes the frontline AFU soldiers feel encouraged!
It seems there's a wandering Patriot around...again. Yes, Ukraine ran out of missiles, but they were waiting to receive them, Jake Broe has talked about that.
Thanks for update.
Great news! Ty for the hard work JP!
Thank You JMSP. I've been watching your vids over 1 year and find your hard work easy to digest. Carry On Sir, Best Regards.
Thanks muchly
The Phantom Patriot returns! Slava Ukraini
Dutch airframes are already used for training in Romania and Denmark.
The last few F16's were flying till the end of march when they were replaced by the F35's. I can hardly imagine it takes so long to upgrade them and send them to DK or RO.
@@petervanderwoude6316 the problem with sending the F16’s to UA now is probably that the infrastructure is not ready yet, as is the protection of the planes when stationed.
🇺🇦❤️🖤
Man you do a great job .i check your news every day.hello from usa
Hello!
I hope you are not a Trump guy since JP doesn't give any soft ball to Trump. 😁
Getting back to it. This is great news.
Gosh busy day JP 👍😊
I'm here early ❤
Evening lynn🖐😊
Yay!

@@NikkiOwen Hi sweetie ♥ 🌌
I heard the same thing twice today!!!
Great to hear hopefully that will mean they will be using them less
I don't care what anyone says, but the Sukhoi design bureau has designed some of the most beautiful aircraft in existence.
Yep.
So glad were starting to see them back at it. Thanks for the update!

A little bit of good news in an otherwise crap day
Hey JP thank you for keeping us informed with these breaking updates, so much appreciated. Wish I had the time to be in the comments more but a couple of new jobs have got me spread pretty thin.
Glory to Ukraine!
Would love to see the “mothballed” Israeli Patriot systems make their way to Ukraine. Would also love to see Polish and Romanian Patriots defending Western Ukraine along with their own Eastern borders. Too escalatory?
You want Polish patriots to defend people who glorify people who massacred the Polish population, do I understand correctly?
What I do know comrade is that “the russian liberation” is coming for Poland if Ukraine falls. Poland may want their air defense systems protecting Ukraine while Ukraine holds back the geno cidal bad guys. No offense to you of course.
What I do know is that the “russian liberation” is coming for countries like Poland if Ukraine falls. So defending Ukraine airspace is smart while Ukraine is fighting the gen ocidal bad guys. No offense of course.
Bang!
Zhenya and Volodya are shortened names of Yevgeni/-ia and Vladimir. Shortened form of Alexander is usually Sasha.
Another one bites the dust.
I do hope that there is much much more to this than we can imagine secret weapon maybe 🤔
This is the 3rd comment iv posted .
Apparently either the mods or yt are unhappy about russian pilots being referred to as t e r r or is t s
I can promise you that it's yt 😊❤
I simply do not understand the algorithm on TH-cam
YT doesn't like it. No mods involved.
@@NikkiOwen I assumed it was yt but covered all bases just incase.
Jonathan would not pick mods who were trolls. It is YT.
🙏🇺🇦👏👍
Great news Slava Ukraini
Going on up to the spirit in the sky,
Great video
Just cant understand why US F16'S cant be slipped into the mix to move things along. US dithering again like an old fighter wondering if he's lost his skills and hesitating to go out into the ring. Earth to the US whether you like it or not, you're in the ring already and you have tied your own arm behind your back. 🤦
Because it’s not call of duty. Training on million dollar jets takes time
@@John_shepard :) my comment was directed at the Dutch saying PLANES would not be ready until Fall 2024. They indicated only SOME would be available in the summer. My fondest wish is America would see they have A CALL TO DUTY. :):) :):)
So true. My hope is this is a bit of misinfo/psyops and the F-16’s will show up quite soon and with zero fanfare. Except of course some serious and mysterious damage spontaneously happening to the bad guys.
Did you see the photo released of the Ukrainian marine drone with a SAM battery mounted on top?
Suchomimus just brought out to video that may explain how the planes may be taken out over the Black Sea video below

Another "friendly fire"?
Listen to the report Jonathan gave.
21 now 200
I don't think it matters much JP that you got the pilots naims wrong, they aren't going to complain.
The F-16 will be predominantly used as attack aircrafts in mostly clean airspaces. Air-to-air, they would need really long range (like 300-400km range) air to air missiles to be useful.
Meteor and AMRAAM-ER
A report I saw said , Su 25 was hit by man-pad but then no one confirmed it so maybe its connected with this second incident
They might of took that down with a F-16. I can't see them trying to lose more airdefense. Unless they got a lot more then we know
👋
Mmmmm. Stingers, manpads coming online again🤞🤞🤞 Cheers for all the work sir. Carry on like this you will need a BBC style licence fee!!🫡
I seriously doubt a MANPADS downed a Su-34. They're used at high altitudes, usually far from the front. It was most likely a Patriot or an Aster.
@tommarney1561 thanks for the info👍
@@tommarney1561I'm hoping it was a UK Starstreak/Force shield. They reach 7km/23,000 feet.
@@harveybrown37 If I were British, I'd be rooting for Aster since it's the Royal Navy's long-range air defense missile.
👍😂
Imagine what Ukrainians can do whith some help, the invaders were able to advance ,because Ukrainians were fighting with with bare hands and even like this ,invaders did just very little.
Did the crew survive?
I don’t think so the Russia channel fighter bomb was mourning there demise
Hope not
No. Listen to the report.
😂😂😂😂😂🇺🇦👍
F-16's are kind of like commercial nuclear fusion power... always just around the corner.
But hopefully not always 30 years away.......
Late June, early July
And that's kind of like a stupid comment.
I gather the Ukrainians are preparing a big special Fireworks Display in honour of llittle Putin's Special May Day Parade;-)
@ATPGeo (repost) Jonathan, you describe why Andrew Perpetua's statistics do not correlate to the UA MOD list of Russian losses. Too much of Russian losses do not show up on OSINT video. For that, and other reasons, Perpetua seriously under counts Russian losses. This significantly deflates Russian to Ukrainian loss ratio's. A day where Perpetua reports parity, the Russians are more likely losing 3 to 1 in equipment. On days where Perpetua reports 3 to 1, it's likely more like 5 or 6 to 1. I don't care how hard Andrew Perpetua works. You can't fix bad data. The result of reporting his ratios is doing the Kremlin's work by supporting their information war. It consistently, and significantly, shows Russia to be doing better than they are.
France and Great Britain are finally buying into the Russian casualty figures reported by Ukraine. Ukraine has the best view of it and disincentives to report inflated figures. Why wouldn't anyone believe them? Rather late to the party for Britain and France, I'd say. The proportion of Russian casualties KIA is also high. A normal 3:1 or 4:1 Wounded:KIA ratio does not apply to the Russians. That's clear from their total disregard for the lives of their own soldiers. I put this ratio more reasonably at 2:1, wounded to killed. That's realistic and reporting more conservative numbers just serves Russia's information war.
I don't want to generally disagree with your assessment because there are several good reasons for your conclusion. I also agree that the data are of course incomplete. I wonder about the argument of underestimated losses because they don't show up on video. The same would of course apply to Ukrainian losses as well. Or do I miss a point regarding these visual evidences?
@@sk.43821 Here's the cumulative Russian losses of some major equipment reported as of May 8. Andrew Perpetua seems to report a loss ratio statistic over time of 3 t0 1. I suspect that's consistent with Jonathan's assessment. The numbers in parentheses are 1/3rd the numbers to the left. They comprise the putative Ukrainian losses by applying Andrew Perpetua's ratio. Has Ukraine ever had these numbers of those types of equipment in their arsenal over the course of the war? That strikes me as doubtful. But setting aside tha doubt, if Ukraine did incur these losses, what could they possibly have left that couldn't be counted on the fingers and toes of one individual? And, why isn't the front line at the Polish boarder?
Tanks 7418 (2473)
ATVs 14,246 (4749)
Artillery 12,317 (4106)
I find these numbers show that a 3:1 loss ratio is a losing proposition for Ukraine, not winning or even status quo. Given the situation of the war as understood to date, I posit that the true loss ratio could be 6:1 or higher. Why Perpetua's ratio comes out the way it does I cannot explain. I do not have access to his data, or more importantly, to complete reports on all the individual incidences of equipment losses. The bottom line is that Perpetua's loss ratio appears to be seriously biased.
I also suggest watching Reporting From Ukraine's May 6 podcast. Official Ukraine count of Russian equipment losses in Avdiiivka. It would be interesting to see how much of that Perpetua picked up.
🤣🤣🤣
You know it’s a lied
