    DISCLAIMER FOR GENERAL STAFF LOSS DATA
    1) These are real people with real lives and real families who love them. Don’t let the numbers sap your humanity.
    2) These numbers probably aren’t accurate but they’re the best we have and we don’t need them to be accurate to be indicative of patterns of activity.
    3) All losses are estimates. Losses cannot be counted with accuracy because of the conditions on the ground.
    4) Both sides would see it to be of their advantage to minimize their own losses maximize the other side’s losses.
    5) Neither side releases their losses but we have enough transparency from the Ukrainian side to have confidence in they are indicative.
    6) Personnel losses are hard to count. If a soldier gets injured, heals up, and returns to the front line only to get injured again, is that one loss or two? Also, how to deal with losses from PMC’s or soldiers fighting with RF from occupied territories?
    7) Equipment losses are hard to count. If an AA complex involves several parts and one part gets disabled, is that a loss, or a fraction of a loss? If a tank gets disabled, repaired, back into the fight, then disabled again, is that one lost tank or two?
    8) All recorded losses are vulnerable to multiple reporting. We have already seen numerous cases of multiple drones in the air reporting the same loss from different angles as multiple engagements.
    9) Losses are not always reported on the same day they occurred. It is frequent that drone losses are reported at least 24 hours after other terrestrial equipment losses. Certain losses may not be reported for days or weeks for military intelligence reasons.

      It's been turning ever since the aid was cut off because I could see that, even without US help. Ukraine was fighting fierce and the enemy was making no significant gains. The shock of the ammo starvation gave Europe a pair. Everyone's awake now and Ukraine's drone army is growing. Troops will be sent from Western allies to back fill things like maintenance of equipment, training, medics etc if Zelensky asks for itor of the frontline collapses seriously. Ukraine will win. I have never doubted.

    They are stockpiling for the Major Offensive!!! Everything is being stockpiled from what I have heard! I got a Report that there were approximately 2.5 Million Rounds of 155mm Rounds that were still in storage before the last Aid Packages were approved! So I think there is a lot of behind the scenes planning for something in the Future which I believe will be a Major Offensive. And I believe Crimea is going to be the Objective of the Next Main Offensive! It makes sense to me to start with crimea as Russia will have a hard time resupplying the South between Robotyne and Crimea! That will put Russia in a Majorly bad position to resupply anywhere in the South as long as the Air bases are destroyed and Air-Defense is Destroyed!

    From what I hear the AFU is holding back a lot of there best Western Equipment for the Main Offensive that will come when the AFU think Russia is degraded enough! I think the Major Offensive will bring the Abrams, Challenger 2, and Leopard 2, Bradleys, etc into the fight! I believe they need them to actually make a break through!!

      @user-sg6or2nu5n หลายเดือนก่อน +7

      This is 100% true.........I have done some calculations and Ukraine has thousands of units of armor that have not seen the front yet..........it's just in reserve. They are just waiting for modern air frames. Think about it. What western army would ever launch a major offensive without air cover. I really like to read Davis Axe in Forbes magazine. In an article from Feb. 24, he estimated Ukraine has 2,000 tanks.

      @jmtpolitico80 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      @@user-sg6or2nu5n Exactly! And that Tank amount is only going to grow! New Tanks will be coming in from US, UK, and Germany. Thats why we have not seen tons of these on the Front. We are still training Tank crews on the New Western Tanks so when they get New ones, they will have crews already Trained on these Machines. I thin k more Abrams will be sent over any others due to there being more of them. But that is why mainy Large Western Ground Equipment has not been on the Frontlines. It's easier for Ukraine to Use it's Trained Tank Crews, to Train more Tank Crews on these pieces of equipment so when they arrive they are ready to be manned and sent to the front!!!

    • @user-sg6or2nu5n
      @user-sg6or2nu5n หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      @@jmtpolitico80 Yep.......I still think they are set to get 100 more Leopard 1's Another 100 Swiss Leopard 1' are sitting in a warehouse in North Italy that can be send.

    • @jmtpolitico80
      @jmtpolitico80 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@cloraformsgood5340 I know this is happening cause I seen it in the Western Regions of Ukraine a few times where they were training New Tank Crews on the Abrams Tank. I seen it before any of the Abrams even went into use, and I seen it again but just not with the Abrams but they were all together doing some kinda war games before I left. They had the Abrams, Challenger 2, Leopard 2, T-72, and I even seen a couple T-90s. Not sure whether those were Abandoned and taken by the AFU or they were bought somehow. But ya they were in a Huge Range which had to be some 30x30 sq miles. it was Huge! They also had Bradleys and other IFVs. So there is a Plan that is being played out in War Games. from what I could see and what I over heard while I was there in the area. I have no Idea what the Plan is, I can only Speculate, I am Not far enough up the food chain to be privy to the details. So that is what my planning is if I were the Commander of the AFU! My Crimea approach is the only way I see a possibility of a big enough break through! It will have to start as an Invasion around the western banks of Crimea and through the Dnipro River Region, as well as the Southern lines pushing south all at the sametime. Russia doesn't have the Reserves , so they would have to pull Troops from the North and East to rush them basically through a small region of Donetsk, which then we will get Sat. Intel on from the West, which we can then Rain Hell from HIMARS, Artillery, Drones, and even Air Force on as well. Which would end up in Russia losing the Logistics Initiative they would need to Support the South! So that would be my Plan of Attack overall. Obviously there is way more to it. But I think it is the only Plan we would have of Taking the Advantage back from Russia! Cause as long as we have the support from then on will we be able to push them out of Ukraine entirely! Cause really it's the only option. I don't know why anyone talks about Negotiating cause Zelenskyy cannot do it. He would have absolute Chaos on his hands and maybe even a rebellion of the Troops! Cause in their eye's that is the only option!

    Hi Jonathan, great to see those large, long range drone attacks into Russia and Russian occupied territory! Troops are the most valuable assets for Ukraine and using these drones on a large scale will definitely cripple Russia at minimum troop loss.
    Mart de Kruif has been in the militaire for a long time and ended his career as a luitenant-general and commander of our army. He is mentioned as a candidate to become the Dutch minister of defense.
    He gave an interview a few days ago about the attack in the Charkiv area. He explained it is very unlikely the goal is to occupy Charkiv. However, he thinks this is the prelude of a bigger Russian attack that will probably take place somewhere in the next few weeks. He explains that if Russia plans a major offensive, they have to do it soon, because Ukraine will get stronger when more Western weapons arrive.
    My addition to his story is that the mobilization of Ukraine will limit the time frame even more. I think Russia can afford to wait 3 weeks, but if they wait 3 months their offensive will be troublesome.
    This would make the Ukrainian drone attacks so important (and might be timed accordingly), attacking airbases to immobilize as much air support as possible, destroy military bases, basically attacking all key infrastructure and present air defense systems that might try to protect those infrastructures.
    F16’s might not solve everything, but they become a lot more powerful when Russian airbases suffer and Russia keeps losing hard to replace AA-kits.
    Russia could move an S400 system, but building one is a totally different story. Ukraine has the same issues, but The West can always squeeze out more.
    In my opinion we “squeeze” too often, resulting in not giving the Ukrainians the benefits the could really have to defend and strike back and, maybe more important, introducing a waiting period for new material to arrive, leaving the Ukrainian troop and the material they currently have vulnerable for attacks.
    With my limited knowledge I would say sending more stuff would be cheaper in the end. Especially if you take Ukrainian losses into account.
    I hope this rant is a bit more structured than some of my others.
    Cheers, Rick

    Electricity and heating for the population are not produced by gas stored in tanks, as those are reserved for liquids such as fuels, diesel, and Euro 98. Instead, gas used for generating electricity and providing heating in homes is transported through pipelines. Therefore, the impact of attacks on depots is limited when it comes to the availability of electricity and residential heating for ordinary citizens. However, fuel prices at gas stations are likely to increase as a result.

    4:51 Hey Jonathan,
    If the reporting I heard was correct, the first aid package from the $60bil from the US included 100 Bradley fighting vehicles.
    That may explain why you're seeing more on the hits & losses.
    The Bradley is arguably one of the best armored vehicles on the battlefield. So you'll probably see units ditching their BMP for a Bradley.
    The teams that have used them long enough to be comfortable using the Bradley - seem to do really well against anything the Russians bring.
    Thanks for all the hard work you do!

Look for them using the Swedish IFVs, the CV90s, being deployed as the Russians are , apparently, desperate to take them out. To the extent, it's claimed that, T90 deployments are often an attempt to hunt down the CV90s.

    Don't discount the Ukrainian's own abilities in weapons design and development. Ukraine was the home of many of the Soviet military aerospace and armoured vehicle design bureaus. The Soviet system separated design and serial production facilities. Ukraine got the design facilities but the production facilities were located elsewhere. Many of the Soviet missiles had the serial production centres in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

    I have a hypothesis that some of these mysterious fires deep inside Russia that have no evidence of the actual event/strike that started the fire are the result of AFU/GUR/SBU SOF units having really good success behind enemy lines with various drones/loitering munitions, some of them might even be western made, and we just probably aren’t going to learn about it for a while. I’m also fairly certain a lot of these long range drones are using western developed AI assisted systems to actually target/home in on the most vulnerable points of their targets, but again we probably won’t get confirmation on such things for a while.
    Also, it seems like GLSDB is actually pretty effective, and so are the JDAMs/Hammers/Paveways lol

    Re: exhaustion of Russian (former USSR) equipment reserves - while this is some of the most interesting data that I see on the war (Covert Cabal in particular), I strongly believe that the Russians will not run out of artillery/tanks/IFVs, etc. As stocks dwindle I am certain that there will be replacement equipment that flows in from NK and from China (I expect China has a lot of former USSR or China-made copies of USSR equipment that has been replaced as China has modernized it's forces). And the supporters of Ukraine can complain about that - but has that had any impact on the supply of artillery shells from NK, or missles and drones from Iran?

    • @sk.43821

      The West can complain and it has no impact. More importantly Chinese overt military assistance gives NATO countries more justification for expanded support because of China's direct involvement.

    I think you're too optimistic about Ukraine's drone strike potential. Look at Shahed raids today compared to a year ago, almost all are intercepted every single time now. Russia will adapt to this and we know they're starting to do the same thing that Ukraine does with teams of gun/cannon rather than missile based anti air systems. Ukraine had a head start on adapting to drone based strategic bombing, Russia will eventually (how long is anyone's guess) adapt.

    minor brain fart: Today is day 816, 803 killed anti-air is average just under 1, not 2, per day.
    The framework for the Garden Shed is often welded directly to the turret, so the turret is disabled from rotating without destroying their shed.
    I'm wondering if Ukraine was able to take out the crane that was moved from Sevastopol to Novorosysk that is used to load cruise missiles. That is a huge target!
    I haven't seen a recent tally of dead russian officers by rank ...
    Belbek air port I've heard their storage tanks were 500 TONS vs 450K litres ... That is a HUGE difference, I wonder which is true.
    Frankly, I'd rather see russia hitting parks and civilian targets than military and civilian infrastructure targets. Sucks to be a civilian, but
    Yes, a traditional 50 cal or larger shooting towards town is bad, but Gepard firing "AHEAD" type shells is less of a problem. The AHEAD shells self detonate in the air, causing smaller shrapnel to hit ground. yes Gepard shooting

    Sir Russia right on top.
    Russia has been slaughtering Ukraine soldiers on the battlefield.
    Ukraine has a acute shortage of manpower.
