That has to be the most awesome sounding production bike ever made. The Mille was fab sounding but the V4 is on another level😎

That low shot with the tarmac whizzing by like a belt sander while looking at the fork compression action, was absolutely awesome!👍

Lime Creek is super sketchy, it's got some decent corners but it's plagued with bad pavement and gravel. COTA on the other hand is 🔥
It’s just part of the “character” of that road. If you’re local you will memorize every corner which means you’ll also know where all the gravel tends to accumulate. I’ve ridden worse roads in my life lol.

I lived in Austin for 17 years and never knew of Hippie Hollow Park!
Spent many hot days there and Barton Springs in the 70s. No car so I was always hitch hiking.
Skip the burgers when in Texas, get the BBQ.

Beautiful bike, but what makes it a naked? I know there is an even supersportier version of it, but I would call the Tuono maybe a sport-tourer.
"The Industry" calls the Tuono a naked even though it obviously isn't one (you can even order replacement "upper fairing", "lower fairing", etc. from Aprilia themselves). Makes absolutely no sense but it seems like "everyone" just goes along with it.

It's classified as a naked because it does not have a full race fairing. Many "naked" bikes these days have some sort of wind protection and plastics to take off the wind pressure but the engine is mostly exposed, hence "naked".
It is not a sport tourer since it does not come with luggage, a large windscreen, a long range or large fuel tank, or a more upright riding position. You may also call it a power or hyper naked. Basically a supersport bike with a handlebar.

Also the RPM indicator is too distracting with it's numbers lighting up and flipping around when switching gears - BMW seems to do that more elegantly I think.
