when Topuria got kicked in the head I was so impressed how calm he was, he knew exactly what do as if he had that scenario covered in training camp. I would later watch an interview he did months after that fight and he was asked about that exact same head kick. His answer confirmed to me that situations like the head kick are all covered in his training camp. He also stated that those situations are very crucial in any fighters training camp because striking and being struck is part of the sport. Ilia marks the era of a new generation of fighter. He grew up training it all. After 30 years of evolution due to big fight organizations (primarily UFC) fighting has evolved to its pinnacle. No longer are the days where the master of a single martial arts form can dominate. It now takes a well-rounded highly trained martial artist to dominate the field on a regular basis. With Ilia we are now witnessing the generation of a fighter who has trained it all from an early age and this generation is just reaching us now. It’s truly amazing to see and exciting to think about the future of MMA. That being said, DJ is still the GOAT.
Ilia is a complete MMA fighter he just loves to use his boxing offense to finish fights standing.. he can defend your takedowns, kicks, punches, submissions etc.. but hes not just a pure boxer

Ilia is better on the ground than on the stand up.... You never saw him fight?
Soon? Volk needs a lot of time off
Love your point about running vs having a solution.
F the void dog that mans boxing was on another level he would have done the same to you mighty so the void is useless
Fascinating and insightful breakdown as always from the champion. Cheers Mighty!
When will you stop talking about the void
NEVER! 😂😂😂
The void is the only way
Void is life
(“The Void) That’s the whole fight. The whole fight takes place here.”
@@Mighty15x😂😂😂
Love the video mighty! When ONE fc drops the full fight for Haggerty Vs. Lobo youve got to do a breakdown of that. One of the most intense muay thai fights ive ever seen in my life
Literally my go to Channel for Real MMA Insider. Mighty’s MMA Knowledge is insane !
Great video, really enjoyed that breakdown. Would help to have short clips (2-3 secs) before the photo so you can see how we got there. Not sure if that causes issues with copyright and stuff but if not, it would really help!
Excellent breakdown as usual champ. I get hyped when you talk about the lessons Matt taught you.
Axis, Exis, Axes, Excess, Access ah same same bro 😂😂 love ya Mighty Mouse bro cant believe I only just got onto your channel now after watching you and MMA Guru such a funny bit man and great to hear break downs from another guy I consider a Master of Movement.
This was great! Keep them coming
Need more of these type of vids this vid hella good
Please do more. This is literally wat I wanted
Damn! You made it sound like you were commentating a preview of the next title! Love the idea, and I hope CA watched this video. But I think the space battles are other important point to resolve
Love listening to your breakdowns i learn a lot
That angle change to get where he needed was artistic
Thanks DJ, Good Video!
Mighty Mouse breakdowns are second to none, next level IQ broken down in digestible manner. GOAT for a reason
The bit about Matt Hume being channeled through you was awesome. Insightful breakdown MM! I wonder if that paradigm of avoiding standing clinch as a stall vs. seeing as a place to fight changes.
“When you have to negate someone’s specialty by running, it does you no good”, Mighty Mouse gets it ! ….massive respect to Volk no doubt but I don’t think he should jump straight back into a rematch with Illia, it could possibly be career ending for him 💯
keep doing these man. great content
How have I not subscribed earlier!! Your breakdown videos are tremendous
Ilia is the only guy in mma that looks and moved like a boxer. He made Volk move the same way whole fight. His boxing is just on another level
TH-cam algorithm popped this video up for me and I’m just like, wait a sec… How am I not on board for mightys channel ?😮 Here we go champ… Already subscribed ❤
Bro when you rant on your mentality coming up against someone's speciality. Pure fire from the GOAT🔥🙏
Man i love your breakdowns the best ufc break downs ever man well done goat dj beats jones ❤
El gran Mighty Mouse!! Que crack, siempre seré tu fan, aunque te inventen derrotas!
Great analysis mate !
I love these videos. You see and point out things I don’t notice.
Thank you sir 😊🙏🏾
Having more pictures to show the combo / sequences would help a lot with understanding. Great vid mighty! 🙌🏿
More fight breakdowns are needed! Yes! This is completely your lane no one is doing fight breakdowns.
Great to see someone with such experience explains o us what folk could have done to have a better chance
Maybe a Alex Pereira Flying scissor knee special work on this guy especially the way he leans in. Just a shot in the dark.
Awesome bring down MIGHTY ❤
mighty mouse analyzing fights like he's teaching a math class 😂😂😂
Congrats Mighty - you're the best!!!
Love your breakdowns DJ! - great video
Another great analysis by the GOAT!
One of the better breakdowns I've heard
Definitely a good theory at the end there; don’t be afraid of your opponents best weapon.
Thanks for adding clarity to chaos
How did I not find this channel earlier? Demetrious Johnson is the 🐐, all hear is ba-a-a-aahhh.
We definetly need more of this.
Ilia is a complete MMA fighter he just loves to use his boxing offense to finish fights standing.. he can defend your takedowns, kicks, punches, submissions etc.. but hes not just a pure boxer
Great job. I always enjoy ur breakdowns
