Too bad that this song “Perdere L’amore” (Losing love) by Massimo Ranieri (great Italian singer), with which he won a Sanremo festival, is not known in the world as it should be. This song is a work of art ! It deserves to be world famous, like so many other beautiful Italian songs.

I hope so. I was obsessed with her 20 years ago as a 16-year old girl. Never understood why she didn't have the career and recognition of let's say Celine, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, etc So I'm happy she is getting recognised now. By the way, she was a coach in the voice France last year.... a very good one :)

When you wet your finger and run it around the delicate rim of a crystal wine glass you get this resonant ringing sound. Her voice does it too, but with all the notes, colors, inflections, emotions and artistry. It's insane.

I love her singing
Paramount Lara! She looked and sounded gorgeous then. Don’t get me wrong, she’s still beautiful and sounds great, just different in my book.
But back then, she was slaying it, vocally and scenically.
The original rendition by Massimo Ranieri is just as powerful to be fair, going crescendo into those last moments. And Lara did a good job at covering it with passion as well.
Edit: Her face and eyes. No matter what era of Lara I am looking at, they always get me. Whether during singing or interviews, they get me. Her eyes specifically. She has very communicative eyes.
The eyes are the mirror of the soul, someone said... and yes, her eys, her sight aare the same, at 20, at 30 and at 50!
Please react to "To love again" by Lara. There are not many reactions on this performance and it's definitely worth listening to.
Only imagine Emerson what Lara's career would have been like worldwide if Céline Dion's entourage hadn't sabotaged it entirely when Lara released her english album in America at the time....:(
@@Anubis2976 Unfortutalely yes...Lara Fabian could have been a superstar worldwide (and in the USA in particular), she confessed recently in Canada where she lives, the reason why she didn't make it in the USA. At the time, she and Céline Dion had the same music company (Sony), Céline was already a star in America, when Lara had just arrived. Lara revealed that Céline Dion's team (not Céline herself) did everything to sink her/sabotage her career as Lara had the whole package to also become an immense star in America, and worldwide. The music company didn't want another huge voice to compete with Céline's, and instead of supporting her, of supporting her style of music/songs (such as 'Love by Grace'), Lara was forced to leave it for another company and forced to change her professional team. As a result, it was all over, the other company formated Lara to make her sing pop songs such as "I will love again", a style of music/songs for which Lara and her stunning voice weren't made for, they also wanted her to lose 20 kilos and asked her to go blond. Such a waste, as she should be as famous and successful as Céline or Mariah Carey today.

@@jeremie2020 I too watched that interview. I felt so badly that in 2019 she was headlining at Beacon Theatre in NYC and people were looking at her poster and asking ‘ Who is Lara Fabian?’ Everyone should know who Lara Fabian is.

Thanks for your curiosity and your fidelity to her. I don't know you she is so underated like you said before. She is divine, incredibly talented, fperfectly fluent in a lot of langages. She is a singer, a song writer and maybe she composes her songs (but i'm not sure for the last thing). She is pretty, generous, kind and humble so why? The Italian language is no problem for Lara. Her mother is from Sicily and she grew up there until she was 5 years old and regularly visited family during holidays.
