I am Neapolitan like Massimo Ranieri who I deeply love as he is really a huge, complete and fantastic artist and performer at 360° ...but Lara Fabian goes, with her voice and incredible rendition, even more further... which I couldn't believe possible, honestly, before to listen to her.

This legendary concert is titled "From Lara With Love" and was recorded in 2000, it was supposed to be a PBS special event being broadcasted nationwide in the US.
Due to some politics from competition, that successfully prevented Lara to breakthru in the US, this concert was only broadcasted in NYC area in late hours.
The recording was made in Montreal with a complete orchestra (100+ musicians) and in live conditions with a small audience.
In between songs, Lara could change ourifts and she used 4 different outfits that night.
The list of songs recorded for the concert is the following:

And this is even not the preferred concert from her fanbase (it’s En Toute Intimité 2003)
Good news Lara has exposed a very busy agenda for 2024: new singles, new album, new tour, many tv shows in France, …
She seems revived by the successful tour she had a few months ago where she seemed rejuvenated !
You should react to her 2022 or 2023 rendition of the italian version of Adagio btw. I will take care of this 😂

Many italians say so but also quite a few others prefer the version of Lara.
I do understand: it’s the same around me with Sos d’un terrien en détresse. Many french prefer Daniel Balavoine’s original or Gregory Lemarchal’s version and do not like the famous cover of Dimash.
I guess it’s because the song and the version you have heard and loved for years have created some specific emotional experience in your mind and any orher version does not reproduce it.
