J'ai toujours aimé Lara et n'ai jamais compris l'acharnement des médias à la critiquer, à la moquer. Hier soir j'ai regardé à nouveau son duo avec Johnny au Stade de France.

je l ai vue chanter au forum de montreal il y a de cela tres longtemps et c etait magique elle demeure maintenant au quebec mais elle appartient au monde

This is one of my favorite songs ever, when I've heard Lara singing it, just couldn't believe that it's possible to love it even more. So many feelings whenever she performs, she's all in always and it's just breathtaking. Yes wow :)

I only discovered Fabian a little over a year ago and was completely stunned. Completely. She is famous for both sterling control/technique + astonishing emotive storytelling. She's fluent and writes music/lyrics for songs in French, Italian, Spanish, English.
Calls herself a "songwriter with a voice."
Another amazing cover of an Italian song from this same concert is pedere l'amour.
My gateway drug to her was her Je Suis Malade from the live From Lara With Love concert (vid with onscreen French and English subtitles is available) if you'd like to see a jaw-dropping emotional performance.

Lara is always fun to watch, she becomes one with what shes singing. Here her Italian (Neapolitan) is so flawless and natural. Her beautiful voice and control is divine. Her interpretation, story telling is second to none. Love it. Thanks for the reaction.

That’s why Lara is (was maybe) a joy to see in concert. Because she’s not only singing (and quite perfectly should I say), she’s also interpreting each and every song, and connecting with her audience.
Whether it’s a slow or sad song like this one or an upbeat tune, she gets under your skin (in a very charming fashion I must admit).

Lara does this in every single song she performs, even the dancing ones, she has been delivering these masterpiece performances since 1986. ;) Plus, she uses to hold E5 in chest/mixed voice over 12 seconds or C5 in chest voice for 20 seconds. Try react to her singing one of the songs she composed You Not From Here. Thank you. She has over 15 years of class of bel canto in the conservatory of Belgium and with her private opera vocal coach.

she sings amazing, no question, but the song is about a man dying, while looking into the eyes of a woman he loves, and he is thinking about some parts of his history.
lara is showing of her skills, but i miss the meaning of the song, while pavarotti lives the story of the song when he is singing.
but like i said before, she is an amazing singer.
