Elite II Install Hall joystick demonstration。

- Hello friends, many friends asked me if it can be used on the Elite 2 controller, and my answer is yes! Due to the complex structure of the control, it will be a little different from ordinary installation. I think there are mainly four points to pay attention to:
1: The left joystick needs to be tilted a little instead of being installed directly.
2: The plastic of the LT button will press against the circuit board, so you need to use a knife to cut off the conflicting part.
3: The LT trigger sensor needs to be removed and then slightly raised when reinstalling.
4: I used an ordinary joystick. The threaded Hall joystick will have size incompatibility issues, so please use it with caution.
The above is what I think requires extra attention. Other than that, it is no different from ordinary XBOX controller installation. After replacing it, you will get an excellent center dead zone, far better than the original joystick!
There are some other things. Due to EU procedures, AliExpress has removed my products from the EU. I am still preparing for the procedures and will restore them as soon as possible.

Well, if that's how much solder you put on there no wonder it's so damn difficult to get the original joystick out of the PCB
I just received the sticks and boards from Aliexpress. Should they come with diodes? Do you have diode part number that I can get myself?
I bought some elite series 2 hall sticks off alie express, would I follow the same steps in this video or is there any differences in installation with the elite 2 sticks? Also what’s the point of the insulation in the middle pin?
Is there a reason you do not connect the left trigger hall effect Sensor to the LH calibration board, like you do for the regular Xbox controller?
dude, what you have done is an amazing feat. and I am grateful for you to have achieved this. but instead of having your board soldered separately, do you plan, in the near future, to have your module to be included with the joystick module itself? so that the user could just solder it at once. I don't understand the engineering or the licensing aspect of such feat, but do you plan on doing that in the future?
cheers
Due to the tight clearance of the thumbsticks in the controller housing it would cause issues with rubbing you'd have to find either a low profile module or a modded shell
Hello, thank you for your video i woul like to do it too but as i search on Aliexpress, i only find hall effect for Elite 2 without board !
Do you have a new link for your's ?
Amazing work, I appreciate all your work. I had ordered a few of this products they work loke a charm. Question, Are you working on supporting the threaded hall effect joystick? It would be amazing to still have all the elite series 2 features. Thanks for your time 🙏🏽
Threaded joysticks can also be used, but due to dimensional errors, friction can occur between the joystick metal cap and the plastic housing. Thank you for your attention
Thanks!
There is a k-silver module specifically for elite 2 with adjustable tension
@zznothinzz I know, but for peace of mind, I would like to integrate this board for calibration and frequency interference between the joystick and the magnetic thums stick.
@@zznothinzz Could you link me it?
Hello !Where can I buy it ? Aliexpress link pls !
Does this apply to the Xbox wireless control as well?
What diode are you installing and where can it be bought? Or does it come with the kit?
Comes with the Kit
Hi. Could you explain to me why your joysticks are not available for purchase in Europe, or more specifically in Poland? Your joysticks used to be available for purchase. Are you refining the current version or is it financially unprofitable for you?
You can read in his notes in the description. " There are some other things. Due to EU procedures, AliExpress has removed my products from the EU. "
So question. For the sensor did you simply use the same sensor and moved down to cover the ordinal pins ?
Its same one he showed in first 40 seconds that he removed
@@victorlowe thanks. I have learned though with trial and error if you don’t have a big enough spacer under the sensor that the short throw trigger will not register. The same goes for the right side
Does the metal back paddles affect the hall joysticks with this board?
No, paddles workings normal... 👌
@@ruch-oporu Yes paddles would work normal, but I tried the orange hall effect joysticks without these calibration boards, and the metal paddles would pull on the right joystick, so it would center different when they were off and on
😃😃😃😃
Is there any way in the future to not be required to have an extra pcb to be able to use the sticks? Like an all in one system with no soldering just plug and play
Apparently he only produces the boards. Sticks will Hall effect sensors are sourced elsewhere (like K-Silver). But that would be a wonderful solution if it all was integrated. Marius Heier seems to be working on something like that, but he has nothing for sale yet.
I'm not sure there is the volume of sales to justify the cost.
@@KennyMinigun In fact, I also provide joysticks, and it is not expensive. Nothing is more cost-effective than Chinese production.
@@TheWebstaff In fact, customers who do not have high requirements for the use of joysticks can not use this solution. My solution is to pursue the ultimate return effect and the external dead zone can be adjusted.
Why is there no delivery for india??
Are they the same hall sensor assemeblies for the elite one?
Yes, but the elite generation will do it a little differently. I'll make a separate video.
So I treid it the exact same way. Whe I tested, the sticks where frozen to one side ( top left-left stick / bottom right -right stick). Anyone knows why that can happen? After installing the original sticks back on, it also behaved very weird. My guess is, that I damaged the PCB but maybe someone has another idea?
Photos please
I put a set in my elite series 2 & and afterwards, the trigger jutter & the sticks spin crazyly. i think i hurt the board some how... this is my 3 controller. The first 2 went perfectly...
I have exactly the same problem.. I think these Analog sticks from Aliexpress do not work for ELITE 2 Controller ! Do not buy them !
@Delaware-lk5vk I figured it out its the ones with both blue hall effect sensors off aliexpress. I ended up using the other ones I have off aliexpress one blue one green sensor & now my elite 2 works perfectly
Do these boards work with normal xbox one controller and series x ?
Xbox one and elite 2
If I don't put the plate that goes under the joystick, what happens? Does it work without putting it on?
It makes it easier to calibrate and has no jitter unlike the orange ones( which doesn't need the calibration board).
@@sudharshanmanneru3613 And which ones would you recommend more, blue or orange? Thanks for answering me
@@jorgecazares6016 the orange ones are easy to solder as they don't have any pcb but they very hard to calibrate, the blue ones are hard to solder but very easy to calibrate, if you are good with soldering then go with the blue one's, even if you are not good with soldering try contacting someone repairs controller and ask them to solder it for you. The orange ones are very hard to calibrate so i prefer jun yeng blue ones
So why exactly does the module need to be tilted?
If is not tilted the left thumbstick will not be centered with you reassemble.
what are the costs involved in making a usb type c charger for the ds4? I would certely buy some
I actually have some. Not sure where you are from but I'm in Texas
Bro so does this method work witht he new xbox Elite series 2 thumbstick instead of normal u using
Works for any elite
Am I supposed to have these diodes on hand ?
Where is link to your offer ?

@@junZeng-520do you ship to Europe?
1:42 could you please tell me why must do this ?
This is the experience of installation, if you keep the vertical installation, after installing the housing, it will be offset
29:13 : The LT trigger sensor needs to be removed and then slightly raised when reinstalling.
im using the yellow/black joystick and havent raise the sensor yet, but already connect the board to the sensor. The board didnt compensate for the trigger.
Are there any wrong ?
Can someone please send me the right link ?
Looks like a S4 SMD Diodes but not sure about the third one.
LOL!
Does the diode that goes onto the board come with the kit?
Yes. When you install make sure it is installed in the correct direction (as seen in the instruction) otherwise the calibration will not work properly
do you have any link for taobao?
YES
@@junZeng-520 give me the link
@@junZeng-520please give the link on taobao
A bit more work then i thought it would be and on my elite controller the solder is strong and does not like to melt even when my iron is at 250c. And for god sake cut your nails looks horrible to see.
For desoldering the old sticks, Microsoft uses a higher melt point solder. Need a MIN of 400c
