What about 6 flashing lights

I was getting the eight light function code in the top bar. Then, it became one solid orange light on the speed control bar. I now have two controllers that have ended in such an error.
Any ideas?
For the 8 bar error code, a control system trip is indicated. Make sure that all connections are secure. If everything seem correct, call a mobility store in your area that is a dealer for your chair and see if you can get it in and have them take a look at the chair.
What is the part number I need to replace this controller?
Can I do a diagnosis if I am missing the piece to put it in neutral

Hi, my Hoveround was working fine until I was watering my plants outdoor, the hose sprung a leak and wet the controller arm. I let it dry out, now it may work for a short period and stops with fast flashing lights. The rest of the time the lights will come on steady but when I try to move forward the lights will start quick flashing. I am a handy person and may be able to fix it if I know what to look for. I can't afford a new controller arm. Thank you for any help.
If its flashing 7 or 8 total lights then you have to replace the joystick.
I have an older chair.. speed LEDs flashing not on/off in sequence.. ideas?

FYI - after cleaning circuit board due to water intrusion, 8 flashing lights, and Power up ,yellow led Cycling up - had to unlock - with joystick forward and back , now working Thank You.

Hi,i have been trying to charge my dad's Merit P200 power chair 6 hours Sunday and today,so all i get it a sequence r d orange a two green, it's beeping etc but i thought it would charge completely today,it hasn't been charged for a year and half though, could this be why,kind regards
Hi Brenda. You need new batteries. If those kind of batteries sit without being charged longer than a few months, their charging capacity will drop down so low that you cant re-charge them.

My moms wheelchair seems to be stuck in neutral even when the sticks are pushed back! Is it just something wrong with the neutral sticks?
Unless somehow they came unscrewed from the motor but Ive never seen that before.
So you saying not matter which way the free wheel levers are in the chair can always be pushed around?
So I looked up the different codes, looks like all the red and yellow lights are on and just one green. I think that means something is wrong with the joystick? So expensive too

What if no lights at all? Has been on charge for about 8 hrs still nothing. Its batteries or joystick? Thanks in advance
If its sat longer then 4 months without charging the 99% of the time it just needs replacement batteries. What model of power chair do you have?

Was working in the summer.
If its this exact same joystick then its a bad joystick. 7 and 8 flashes on this exact type you have to replace the joystick.
@@Marcsmobility thanks for reply, the thing is it was left outside with a tarp covering and I think water got into it.
Will try to take apart and clean it.
As I say inherited from my dad that passed in August. He never used it it just sat.

I took apart the joystick. Bit of moisture present .Used electronics cleaner to clean circuit board and joystick.
Now no Flashing LED
BUT ! Below Yellow Led Cycling up and Down .
What does that mean ???
