I have a question. I have a problem with my joystick for a while, so I don't know is it electric or mechanical problem. The thing is: when is push my joystick in any direction, on my left motor it seems the brake just don't release 100%, it stuck on the half way. Right motor works well. So I don't know is there some problem with joystick, wires, mechanical stuff? Or just there is a dirt under the joystick cover or connectors maybe, and making some small contact? And yeah, joystick get warm a little bit in that condition, but not too much.
There are three ways, one is to use a programmer and change the backup to off. Second is to open the joystick up and ruin the little beeper on the pcb with needle nose pliers. Or the last and easiest may just to take a piece of clay or putty or something like that and push it up into the little speaker hole on the underside of the joystick. The latter should cut down on the noise quite a bit. Frank 352 999 4477
Hey how are you? is it possible to change a vr2 module to drive like a it on caterpillar tracks, I have made a 4 wheel drive chair but its just not turning how i thought it would
It is possible to program the VR2 module. However the programming would most likely change the parameters only about 20% or so. So if the changes in speed or turning response that you need are in your opinion more than this 20% number, then you most likely would have to do a physical gearing to change the response. But as you know, when you change the gearing, you will change the intended torque, or speed, or both.
No code but when i push forward on the joystick it goes backwards and when i pull joystick back it goes forward , i switched the motor connection bit still does the same thing , any ideas whybis doing that ?
Im going to assume that you got a new module. Some modules are set up for front and mid wheel drive, while others (less) are set up for rear. In each case the motors are inverted, and will go backwards if you get the wrong one. Frank 352 999 4477
@astrosmell thought so , I will call tech support and see what they tell me , I ran into this chair at the end of my shift so I didn't have time to diagnose it properly so I just wanted to see if there a was a simple solution for when I go back to see this chair , thanks for the reply
A seven code usually means an inductive problem. That is the component that you move to steer. You could try replacing that part. Frank 352 999 4477. Sorry that I missed your call.
fault code 7, happened after power supply shorted out and damaged original joystick burnt a component inside the joystick. replace with new, getting code 7 fault. thought new joystick was defective, replaced with 2nd new one, same issue. when i open up the joystick from the old and the new, the circuit boards looks different. but on the joysticks they look the same
Thanks Frank,very good guess

By default a brake is on. When they go bad they default to on. Meaning, most likely your brake is going bad. Thanks, Frank 18007171252
Mine has the delta deal, no joystick but I'm sure from the other video it could still get wet, Tnx, Astro...
Hello, could you send me a link to download the wheelchair joystick software so I can update my Rubicon chair.
What type of joystick is on it? Thanks, Frank 352 999 4477
Hello. Tell me how to turn off the reverse sound on this joystick? Thank you.
