In a couple months when 50xx series and 8800xt & 8700xt are released, the drop in prices of RX 7xxx and 40xx cards will be huge. Both on the new and used market. As you mentioned compulsive upgraders, theres many people just waiting for the 5090 and to sell off their 4090. Theres always those that dont upgrade every year but will be tempted after 2 years, to get away from some 4070 (ti) or super just to get to 16GB gddr7 vram. Lots of people that skipped 40xx series on them 3060 and 3050 and on the rdna 2 and 3 gpus. Same goes for cpus when 9800x3D is released. Some people will just sell their 7800x3D to do a day one upgrade.
For flagship prices this can often be the case. For example after the 4090 came out the 3090 took a massive price dump. But for mid to low tier GPU's i haven't noticed this trend.
Overwatch is pretty easy to run, but Id go with a X3D cpu to get FPS that high. At a minimum probably a 4070ti super paired with a 7800x3d or 5800x3d. a 13700k or 13900k would work too. I would look up a video on people running overwatch with those cards.
I have Ryzen 5950x , 3080ti nr 200 build was thinking of jumping to am5 9800 x 3d given the performance of 9000 and x 3d leaks do you think I should wait until AM6 possible GPU only I always wanted the 90 class cards for creative work too so possible a 5090 might be best thing to do what do you think
If your dropping what could possibly be +$2000 on a 5090 you need to upgrade your cpu with it. The 5950x is a great multicore chip but it will hold the 5090 way back in gaming
Same audio issues got me in this vid, filmed them in the same day, should be fixed going forward!
dude should be out modeling instead of teaching us when to buy computer parts
Maybe I can do both??
Why not
Great video

Silicon steak thanks for the advice man. I used my wife’s boyfriend’s Best Buy card and got a 4090! Thanks bro!!
What gpu cpu combo would I want if I want a stable 480 fps in overwatch? (like im ready to splurge but also don’t want to overdo it)
